Rain pouring down, gracefully bouncing off the ground before settling back on to the drenched ground. Thunder echoed through the air as lightning strikes the ground nearby. The wind whipping my hair around and the long wet cold grass slashing around my bare ankles. My soaking wet cloths clung to my frumpy body. I stood there on the patch of grass smiling as people dressed the same, light blue shirt, light blue jeans and white trainers, surrounded me. I heard some of them whisper before a gap came between them, a large dark figure stood there.
Everyone and everything fell completely silent, the dark figure came forward, the movements was fluently graceful. I stared at the figure, taking in the appearance of the figure, a wet dark blue hooded jumper with a large hood over its head, dark blue jeans that almost looked black. As I looked further down I noticed, like I, this person wasn't wearing any kind of foot wear.
"Oh crap" I whispered to myself
"Hello again" said the figure in an almost whisper
"Why?" I said almost as a cry
"Is that anyway to greet I?" The figure chimed
"Does it sound like I care?" I said trying my best to not smile
"Oh, I see, the games you like to play" the figure sighed, "they are not as... entertaining... as before"
"What games?" I asked with seriousness set in my voice and on my face "I don't like games, so why would I play them?"
No reply, it felt as though the world was on pause no sound and no movement. Even the rain stopped and there wasn't even a breeze. I turned looking for something, I didn't know what I was looking for but I knew I would know when I see it. There was nothing, my heart sank and I sighed. Just as I finished the long deep sigh a loud obnoxious laugh echoed I looked up and frowned.
"Dam fool" I shouted up to the man that stood on a roof
"What?" he smiled down at me "am I late?"
"What do you think?" I replied
"Well sorry ma'am I was hungry I can't..." he looked down at everyone "... have fun on an empty stomach"
"Seriously?" I said looking back at the people around me "well you gonna stay up there all night? Or are you gonna come down?"
"Hmm..." he smirked "let me think..."
"Let me put it this way..." I smiled "come down now or I will make you..."
"Oh I didn't know you loved me so much" he smiled "you are so sexy when you get mad"
"Don't start" I frowned
"Fine then" he sighed rather loudly as he started to climb down from the roof
"EXCUSE ME!" shouted the figure, his voice echoed loudly in the broken silence.
"You're excused" I replied
"Sorry I didn't mean to interrupt, but I was feeling left out, may I ask... why I wasn't invited to this..." he looked around and smiled "party?"
Everyone burst out laughing. I never heard anything like it. It was ear wrenchingly awful, I thought my eardrums were going to burst. The hooded figure stood taller and moved its left hand slightly and they all feel silent once again. The rain came back on and the wind slowly came back too and got stronger. Then a screeching sound came from behind us along with the sound of a horn. I smiled without even glancing; I grabbed the wrist of the man from the roof and ran towards the bright pink minivan dragging him behind me. We got to the van with them starting to run after us. I pushed him into the minivan and got in after him and slammed the door shut.
"Hey! Watched the door of my baby" said a small squeaky female voice from behind the steering wheel
"Oh, sorry, but right now would be a brilliant time to start driving" I said looking out the window of the back seat
"Yeah, yeah" she replied as she pulls safely away from the curb beside the bus stop
"What the... why did you run?" he shouted "we could of took them!"
"No, we couldn't" I sighed knowing that I just made him angry
"Whatever, you just didn't want me showing you up in front of everyone" he snapped "you are a selfish bitch, how many times do I have to tell you? Never ever back away or back down from a fight any kind of fight!"
"Yup that's me I am selfish as they come" I sighed knowing something that he doesn't yet know "and when did you leave school?"
"You two shut up or I will stop this car right now!" shouted the driver "now apologise to each other and to me cause you are giving me a sore head"
"Sorry" we both sighed looking at each other
"Sorry Miss Duff" he said avoiding eye contact
"Sorry mum" I said as I put my seat belt on
