fter the interviews we were to have dinner as a group. It was suppose to be a chance to get to know the other tributes and to make alliances.
I sat down by myself until another walked over. "Hello Princess" she smirked and sat down. "I'm Glimmer, District 1." I nodded and turned my attention back to my food. "Listen,we want you and your little tribute boy to join our alliance." I looked at her puzzled. "Me? And Trevor?" She nodded and smiled. "You'll be safe with us." she motioned a few more people to our table. "This is Cato,Clove and Marvel." "Hi,I'm Tess" They grinned and shook my hand before sitting down. Cato was a rather tall boy from District 2,he was very nice looking and well aware of that. Clove was small, but had a very large, fierce personality. She was also from District 2.And as for Marvel,he was very strong, but he lacked common sense, from district 1. "Welcome to the careers." Clove said with a slight grin. I smiled and finished my meal before calling Trevor over to talk to the group.
After dinner we rode the elevators up to our room. I was stuck in the elevator with Katniss and Peeta. They were holding hands and saying sweet nothings. I wanted to barf, but I just smiled until the elevator stopped on my floor.
Once safe in my room I sat down on my bed and looked down at my locket in deep thought. Tomorrow we were to start training with the other tributes. I'm still wondering what I even have to offer to these people, other than I am President Snow's grand daughter. That's all I was so so many people, just a Snow. That's it. Well atleast I still got to stay in my room for a couple days while training.
I tried to sleep but I just couldn't. My thoughts were racing and I just wanted someone to be here for me. I missed my mom and my dad,Grand father said they died in a fire when I was 6,but that could be just another one of his lies. I missed how my mom would always hold me when I cried or how my dad would tell me stories. I miss them so much.
I guess I must have fallen asleep because I woken up around really early the next morning. "Time to start training." Trevor said as he barged in. "Jesus christ!" I said covering Myself with a blanket. "Knock first!" He just chuckled and grinned. "You need to get up and get ready. We train after breakfast." He turned and walked out of the room.
