Chapter 3
Recap:
That was really weird, it was as if Cole didn't want to be friends, he said he had fun today, but he doesn't want to be friends?
Guys are complicated.

I woke up to my alarm again at 6 am to continue with my daily schedule, after I showered I made my way to my tiny closet to pick out an outfit for the day, I wasn't really excited because the texts from last night. Does Cole really not want to be my friend? I thought we were actually getting closer friends and he texts me that.
After staring at the same shirt for almost 15 minutes I just decided to throw a few things on, skinny jeans and a normal shirt is all I wanted to wear today, and of course my high top converse. Not ever bothering with with makeup, I pull my hair up into a high messy bun and check my phone to see if anyone decided to text me. Well mostly to see is Cole texted me, nope, yay, grand, woohoo. You know what?! I will text first,
Me: Hey Cole! When are you coming to pick me up today?
Cole: Oh yeah, sorry, I can't.
Wow, I guess that answers my questions about him not wanting to be my friend.
Me: Oh.
Me: I guess I could get a ride from someone else :(
No response...
Me: Hey Audrey, could I hitch a ride from you. My ride can't take me today. :)
Audrey: Ofc girl. Be there in 10.
Me: Thanks! c:

The ride with Audrey was full on conversations, mostly about Cole and I, even though I keep telling her that there was no 'Cole and I' she still felt the need to ask me all about it. I even talk her about the texts from last night, and she doesn't even know what to think about them. I suppose I just have to face the truth,
Cole doesn't want to be my friend.

Once we finally make it to school, we walk to our first class and the best part is, we are the first ones in the class. (We were a little to excited about it.)
"You are going to sit there again, even though that is Cole's spot?" She asks eye wide.
"Well it's my spot now, I would move if he would come to his senses and be my friend." I grin evilly.
"What are you talking about senses? Boys only have one sense and its testosterone. I will start to prepare your funeral, Aria." She and I begin to laugh.
Time passes and comfortable silence takes over until the one and only walks in, Cole Willett, he doesn't even seem to notice me, no eye contact what so ever. He simply just sits in a seat nearly in the opposite side of the room. "Wow." Is all I can get out.
I can tell he heard it because he stiffens and then relaxes as if he heard nothing, I don't want to admit it but I'm on the brink of tears, losing one of your only friends at a new high school is tough. As I sit through class with my eyes glued to the desk fidgeting and I can tell that Cole gives me glances here and there, I don't even try to notice it, it would hurt even more to see him reject me as a friend again.
After class Cole bolts out of class before anyone else has even left their seats, all I could do is just continue the day without thinking of him.
As soon as I left Pre-Calculus, Audrey and I waved our good byes, and I soon as I turn around I am confronted by a cute blonde haired girl.
