Chapter 16

"Are you ready yet?" Brody said, barging into my room, already wearing his bathing suit. I quickly covered up my boobs.

"I was changing." I said, a little annoyed that he didn't knock.

"At least you have pants on." He said, referring to my bathing suit bottom.

"Yeah." I said

"Why don't you move your hands?" He said. He walked up to me and took my hands away from my chest. He leaned down and kissed me. I kissed him back and he pushed me up against the wall. He put his hands under my butt and I wrapped my legs around his waist.

"Would you guys hurry up!" Logan yelled from the bottom of the living room or kitchen.

Brody put me down and I quickly put on my bathing suit top. We went downstairs to see everyone waiting for us.

"Took you long enough." Max muttered under his breath.

"Is everyone ready?" Conner asked

"Yeah! Now come on let's go!" Lincoln whined.

Everyone took something but me. Brody said that I'm not allowed to carry heavy things. We had a cooler, towels, and a couple inner-tubes.

"Are we going to walk with all this stuff?" I asked

"No, we're taking the four wheelers. Nobody told you?" Kody asked

"No, I didn't even know you had four wheelers." I said, a little- a lot- nervous about riding death on wheels.

"Well now you do." Kody said, joking around.

"I don't know how to drive one." I said

"You're riding with me." Brody said

"Oh."

We walked into the shed and they got out 7 four wheelers. Everyone got on and I got on behind Brody and wrapped my arms around his waist. He started it and I got scared. I squeezed his waist as tight as I could so I wouldn't fall off and I laid my head on his back and closed my eyes.

I finally worked up the courage to look around. I saw that we were passing the same stream that me and Brody went to in the middle of the night. We rode along it for about five minutes and then the stream lead into an almost crystal clear pond.

"Ok Brooke. You can let go now." Brody said as he pried my hands from his waist. I let go of him. When I tried to walk to the pond, I almost fell over because my legs were so shaky.

Conner jumped in the water and soon everyone but me and Brody followed. I was honestly scared. What if there was a snake or something?

Before I could even finish that thought, Brody picked me up bridal style and we both jumped in at the same time. The cold water surrounded me and I came up to the surface shocked. I smacked Brody in the arm.

"Oww! What was that for?" He whined

"You threw me in!" I yelled, splashing him with water.

He wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his hands in the small of my back. "I'm sorry. Do you forgive me?" He said sticking his bottom lip out and giving me puppy dog eyes.

"Ugh, fine. But just this time." I said

"Ok" He said leaning down and lightly kissing my lips.

"I love you." I said

"I love you to." He said an he kissed me again. I smiled against his lips.

"Ewwwww!" Lincoln screamed

"Ewwwwww PDA!" Conner mocked Lincoln.

"Like you and Carolina haven't done that before." Brody said smirking. Lincoln blushed

"Aww that's so sweet!" I squealed

"If you want to meet her she's coming over for dinner tonight." Logan said

"You guys aren't going to say anything embarrassing are you?" Lincoln said hurting his head in his hands.

"Sure we aren't." Kody said winking

"I though you were the nice one Kody!" I said

"Don't let him fool you. He's pure evil. Last year we went on vacation and he set the hotel alarms for one in the morning and hid all the alarm clocks in a hole in the wall he found." Brody said shaking his head at the memory.

"Oh gosh. But back our girlfriend. What are oh going to wear!" I said

"Um, khakis?" He said scratching his head.

"Ok Jake from State Farm. But for real." I said

"That was for real."

"You have to be kidding me."
