Something Beneath The Petals. // BFDI AU

Where it all blooms. // CHAPTER 1

Oh! What a normal day in the North of Goiky. One is gone and every contestant is sitting and chatting and laughing and walking whatever contestants do in their stupid little lives! (Such an ass start am I right?)

Leafy was walking around, doing her own stuff, thinking about how great life is, until she stumbled across Firey. "Oh, hey Firey!" She greeted. "Hi Leafy!!!!!!" He replied.

They walked along the grass, as it swayed with the gentle breeze. "Leafy, do you ever notice it's been so.. so, calm, and peaceful. It's just a bit odd that it's all suddenly over and everything is nice again, it's just.. life now feels like a card that has so many possibilities or uses yet you don't do anything with it."

"Wow, really? I mean, I really like this peace if you ask me." Leafy sighed. Firey didn't bother to reply, he still did think something was a bit off but he didn't question it. "Hey Le- WAOHH!" Firey was cut off by Coiny who had tackled him to the ground. "WHAT THE SPARK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" Firey shouted, as he harshly pushed him away and huffed, while Coiny was dying laughing.

"HAHA! HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH!" (Coiny stop laughing idiot) Firey got even more pissed off at Coiny's smug laughter, "You think this is funny? I'll show you funny.." Firey raised his arm until Pin cut through the fight. "Woah Woah Woah! What is going on??" Firey lowered his fist and complained, "HE TACKLED ME LIKE A DUMBASS!" He said as he pointed at him, his voice trembling. (Firey, Coiny isn't a dumbass, you're just too stubborn to admit your love for him..)

"Coiny! That's rude to just tackle him like up, be a mature man and own up to your actions." Pin looked at him expectantly as she crossed her arms. "Nope! I don't feel like apologising! Heh.." Pin got more cross at this and sternly scolded him. After a few minutes of Pin taking Coiny away for scolding, they came back and Coiny was apologising profusely on his knees, hand pressed together. "IM SORRY IM SORRY IM SORRY!! JUST FORGIVE ME ALREADY!!"

'Man.. what could Pin have possibly said that's making Coiny apologise like this..? Lol.' Leafy thought to herself as she watched the three. She was taken out of her thoughts when she felt something brush against her leg, she looked down to see a pink pretty petal, it glowed a little.

What could this possibly be?

She picked it up and let it rest in her palms as she watched and observed it. It pulsed a light pink, a flower hit her in the face and the pollen got in her nose, (if she has one.??.??) causing her to cough loudly. The others watched her in obvious concern.

"What?-" Leafy stared at them back, blatantly confused. "Why- why are you coughing so much?" Coiny stood up and turned to face her fully. "What? Can I not cough like a normal object?" Leafy was starting to get annoyed at the staring now, her irritation visible. "You know what?, nothing- nothing, it's fine!" Firey exclaimed reassuringly, he did not sound so reassuring.

The three went back to whatever they were doing and moved on, which Leafy thought was weird but y'know, we can't question things these days. "Now what was I doing again? OH RIGHT! THE PE.. tal..?" She realised only now that it was gone. Well gosh dang it! It's GONE! ITS GONE!! Leafy cursed under her breath as she thought about how it went missing, she really loved that petal! It was so pretty! But due to her ignorance it's gone, so she was gonna take responsibility and find it.

"Hey guys! I'm gonna head away for a bit! I just wanna do some stuff alone." Leafy called while walking away, leaving the three to themselves. She decided she'd pack some stuff since she knew it was gonna be a long journey considering how light that petal was, it probably travelled far, far away by now.

She took this side bag with a little leaf design on it and thought about what she'll pack. She took a water bottle incase she gets thirsty, she can refill it from a nearby river or something anyway; a few snacks so she won't starve to death out in the wilderness; a kind of accurate map..? Ok yeah, she hand-drew the map herself, she trusts herself anyway so it should be fine! A compass so she won't be walking in circles til the morning, a flashlight so she can see if the darkness takes over, a blanket for warmth and etc. since there's wayy too much.

She was a bit nervous considering she hasn't done this in a long time, she barely remembers how she even survived in Yoyleland so long ago! She isn't like that fierce metal thing anymore, so how would she survive?? "You know what I- I can't do this.. wait no. I have to get that petal!" She took a deep breath and declared to herself that that was it and she should stop overthinking it and set off on her little journey, who or what will she come across? Will she find the petal? Probably not. But we can't just give up here.
