Anushka Pragya had always been fascinated by things that no longer existed.

Ancient cities.

Forgotten civilizations.

Broken walls that had once belonged to magnificent buildings.

Objects buried beneath layers of earth, waiting for someone to find them and ask the simplest question-

Who left this behind?

While other children had grown up dreaming about becoming doctors, engineers, actors, or pilots, Anushka had somehow fallen in love with history.

Not the kind that existed only inside textbooks.

She loved the history that could be touched.

The kind that lived inside ruins, inscriptions, pottery, temples, tombs, old manuscripts, and abandoned settlements.

Perhaps that was why archaeology had always felt less like a career to her and more like something she was meant to do.

Anushka came from an Indian family with both Hindu and Christian traditions.

Her childhood had been a comfortable mixture of cultures, celebrations, food, prayers, family gatherings, and occasionally completely unnecessary arguments over what everyone was going to eat.

She had grown up learning that different traditions could exist under the same roof.

And she loved that.

She was also naturally curious.

If someone mentioned an old building, she wanted to know when it was built.

If someone mentioned a historical city, she wanted to know who lived there.

If she visited a museum, she could spend hours staring at objects that most people would walk past in seconds.

Her family had eventually stopped asking why she was so interested.

They had simply accepted it.

Their daughter was going to study archaeology.

And that was that.

But Anushka had another interest too.

Photography.

At first, it had been nothing serious.

Just pictures.

A pretty sunset.

An old building.

A traditional outfit.

A museum corridor.

A random street she found beautiful.

Then, shortly before turning eighteen, she started making short videos and vlogs.

She filmed little pieces of her life.

Her trips.

Her outfits.

Historical places.

Museums.

Local food.

Her preparation for university.

Sometimes she spoke directly to the camera.

Sometimes she simply filmed whatever caught her attention.

She never expected much from it.

Then people started watching.

A few hundred followers became a few thousand.
