The shrill sound of my alarm dragged me out of sleep long before the sun had even begun to rise.
I reached over and silenced it before sitting up with a tired sigh.
Another day.
I rubbed the sleep from my eyes and glanced around my apartment.
It wasn't much.
Just one small room with a tiny kitchenette tucked into the corner and a bathroom that barely had enough room to stand in. The wallpaper had started peeling months ago, and no matter how many times I tried to smooth it back down, it always curled away from the wall again.

His eyes slowly traveled over me before stopping on the scent blocker around my wrist.
His expression twisted into one I'd seen countless times before.
Disgust.
"Typical Omega."
I lowered my eyes.
There wasn't any point arguing.
It never helped.
Mr. Harlow hated Omegas.
