Sunoo and Sunghoon had been dating for 3 years, both had been studying in high school, now it was their senior year.
Sunoo sat at his vanity, getting ready for his last week of school. He stared at his reflection for a bit, feeling his heart flutter. He had grown so much through high school, a sense of gratefulness washed over him.
Sunoo smiles, continuing to curl his lashes. A small knock. His little sister, Hanni, comes rushing in. "Good morning hyungie!!" Hanni cheered, a little too peppy for 6am in the morning.
Sunoo looks over his shoulder, "Good morning Hanni...why are you up so early?" Sunoo asks, picking her up and placing her on his lap. She stares up at him, marveling at his face. She has always looked up to him and Sunoo found it very cute, she was definitely going to be the hardest to leave when he had to go to college.
"You so pretty hyungie I hope I can grow up to be just like you..." Hanni gushes, basically dodging the question unintentionally. Sunoo felt his face heat up a bit, he wasn't expecting so much praise so early in the morning.
Sunoo giggles taking Hannis hands down from his cheeks. "You already are" Sunoo added, booping her nose.
Breaking the moment, Sunoo's phone starts to buzz, almost slipping off the vanity. Sunoo catches it just in time and quickly answers. "Hi Sunghoon!" He exclaimed, holding the phone between his shoulder and head while setting down Hanni.
"How did you know it was me?" Sunghoon questioned, his voice sounding from the other line. Sunoo bites his lip.
"I answer every call like that. Just in case it's you!" Sunoo jokes, grabbing his bag as Hanni followed him out of his room. "I'm joking, I obviously saw the caller ID."
Sunghoon laughed on the other line, "well hurry up and get out here it's already raining."
Sunoo answers with a short "Mhpm!" And hangs up. On his way out he says goodbye to his mother and father.
It was mornings like these that made him realize how good he had it, how perfect everything in his life really was.
As soon as Sunoo opens the front door he darts out, the strong wind and rain almost blowing him away. He quickly opens the passenger door and slips in, half wet already.
Sunghoon tries to stop himself from laughing, knowing it would only irritate Sunoo further. "Here." Sunghoon says, handing Sunoo a cup of coffee.
Every Monday and Friday when Sunghoon would pick Sunoo up, he would bring coffee and sometimes a treat. It was no big deal and it wasn't out of his way. Seeing Sunoo's relief always made it worth it.
Sunoo gently takes the coffee, giving Sunghoon a quick kiss in return. 'Perfect....' Sunoo thinks, a small sigh escaping his lips as he sunk into the passenger seat.
Sunghoon starts driving, the car ride was peaceful, as always. But something was off, Sunghoon seemed....nervous..?
Sunoo glances at Sunghoon's hands righting around the wheel. Before Sunoo could ask, he breaks the silence.
"So...what are we going to do after collage?" Sunghoon wondered, although it seemed he was looking for a specific answer.
Sunoo's eyes wondered out the window. "Mmmmm....Im not sure...I guess...you know...keep
Doing this? Well...I mean we could share a dorm...and stuff..." Sunoo simply says, his finger tapping his coffee up that rested in his hands.
"I'm not going to the same collage as you though..." Sunghoon added. Sunoo bit the inside of his cheek, why was he getting nervous..?
"Oh...then...we can meet on the weekends...or after school like we do now..?" Sunoo suggested, now looking towards Sunghoon.
"Why don't we just move in together?" Sunghoon mentioned, his hand coming to Sunoo's thigh.
Sunoo felt his skin crawl and before he could think, "No."
