Conquer From Within

Chapter 11

 Before I actually had time to understand what is happening, I saw my opponents fist flying to my face! I did the only think I could think of, I dodged it as best as I could. Now I only could hope that all those hours, every single day, of dance training will come in handy here! Before I knew it, he tried to kick me with his leg, but I dodged it, as well as dozen more! After few more minutes , which truly felt like hours,my breath was so ragged that I thought that I was going to faint any minute now! But my opponent still looked quite determent and furious as hell! His punches and kicks were so strong and hard that I was truly afraid what would happen, if he actually landed on on me! So basically, that was the only reason why I'm still trying to dodge them! Then one second I was standing, when suddenly I was lying flat on my face. Somehow that guy managed to knock me of my feet and twist my hands behind my back, really roughly I might add!

'' Okay, I think that was the longest dodging in my life I have ever seen and frankly the most boring fight I've ever seen as well!'' said commander in bored tone. '' Ok, Bruce get of her right now!'' he barked out,since that guy still hasn't moved off me.

With that we both got of the mats. '' Right ,so now newbies go with me, others pick a pair and start with something simple today! Newbies follow me!'' he said and went out of the gym with us following him closely behind. He opened another door right in front of the gym and revealed to us the hugest gym I've ever seen in my whole life! It had everything in it you could only dream of , but it still had plenty of space. He started to station us to various equipment. '' Okay, the dodger, come here!'' but I just stood there not understanding who is he talking to. '' Are you deaf or something? I said come here!'' he barked out. '' So since we did see quite clearly how well you can dodge punches, now is the time for you to show me how to deliver a blow, don't you think?''  He led me to another room full of punching bags and some other equipment. '' Okay, show me how to deliver a blow now.'' he asked me. I tried to remember everything that I knew about punching! So I made a fist and delivered a blow as hard as I could.''Ah! Shit, fuck...!'' I started cursing out loud as soon as my fist collided with a punching bag. '' Oh, c'mon it couldn't be that bad, is it?'' he asked me looking like he actually wanted to laugh at my attempt.'' I think that I broke it! No, actually, I know that it's broken!'' I whined.'' Oh God, just show it to me already!'' he took my hand and  looked at it. '' Well, for what I can tell it is clearly not broken. Dislocated at worst probably! Just go to nurse. But tomorrow you will learn how to actually punch!'' I did as I was told and went to Academy's nurse.  After my hand was taken care of I went to rest of lessons. 

After the day was finally over I went to bed, feeling strangely satisfied with everything that happened today. Feeling giddy about everything that has to come my way yet...
