The palm trees in front of me sway in the breeze mirroring my hair as I tentatively advance up the path to the main entrance of 'Summerfield High'. Such a corny name, i think to myself. Keeping my eyes straight ahead I can't help but notice a few stares. I dart my eyes around the parking lot quick enough to make out the different groups of people but not quick enough to sidestep the menacing eyes of what must be one of the school jocks, his eyes locking onto mine for a split second before he distractedly looks away.

I sigh inwardly, Good one Sephy, don't think you could've made your attraction towards him much more obvious.
Shocked out of my own thoughts, the bell starts ringing, signalling the start of class.

Great, as well as looking stupid in front of the school jock, you've just made your self late to class.
Trudging up the steps, following my tour guide, a damp leaflet that was dropped through mydoor Saturday morning that had obviously spent a night out in the rain, led me eventually to my destination. The headmasters office to collect my timetable.
