It All Started with a Text

Chapter Two

Walking into school, I was nervous to see Micheal in first period. I was pretty sure that he'd mention the text first thing. I took most of the passing time walking around, avoiding going to class. When the first bell rang, I was on the other side of the school and quickly made my way back to the classroom. I have Science first and it's my favorite class. My teacher has ADHD and she always gets off task and tell us cool stories.

Walking over to my seat, Micheal's sitting there looking hot with his uncombed hair. A lot of guys tried to pull off that look, but it usually didn't work. However, his dark hair looked sexy and soft. I had thoughts of running my fingers through his hair all day long. He was wearing dark jeans and a red flannel with the sleeves rolled up. I went to sit down and gave him a nervous smile.

"Hey Micheal, what's up?" I ask with a nervous laugh.

"Just tired. Why are you so tense Skylar? It's weird," He mumbled emphasising his tiredness.

"Hmm?" I tried nonchalantly, "I'm not tense. Just worried about the test we have to take in History. I didn't study so I'll probably bomb it."

"Ah, I see. So, I was talking to Jax and.." He began.

"I DO NOT LOVE HIM! I accidentally sent him the text that was meant for someone else," I said cutting him off.

"Chill, don't bite my head off. That's just what I heard, so who's the real person you love then?" He asked.

I stared at my hands not knowing if I should tell him the truth or not. I was about to open my mouth when Jax walked in.

"Hey babe, aren't you gonna sit with me today?" Jax smirked.

God, I hate this kid. "Well, you see Jax I would but poor Micheal would be all alone," I said in my sweetest voice.

"Oh, that's okay Skylar, I'll be fine. You go on ahead and sit with your true love," Micheal teased.

Jax let out a low chuckle, which was something that I enjoyed hearing. Wait, where did that come from? I hate him. With his stupid cocky attitude and humongous ego. He thinks he can get any girl he wants with his smile and eyes. Oh, and let's not forget his charm. His words alone would stop a girl's heart.  I was in deep thought and hadn't realized that Jax was talking to me.

"So, therefore you get to sit by me today." He finished, clearly he didn't noticed I spaced out.

I grabbed my things and walked over to his desk and sat down. "There you happy?" I said, a little harsher than I meant.

"Quite actually. So, since you declared you love to me, I guess that means that you think I'm a gorgeous god that you need to please," He smugly said.

I burst out laughing. Was this guy for real? "Haha of course," I said playing along.

I turned towards him with a smirk on my face. I slowly rose, and gracefully lifted a leg so I was now straddling him. I looked into his eyes, using my best seductive look. He raised an eyebrow, knowing that I was up to something. Running the tips of my fingers across his chest, I could feel the hard muscles contracting under my touch.

I slowly brought my mouth up to his ear and whispered, "So, how do you want me to please you, oh mighty god?"

With a laugh, I went to stand up. Only I couldn't, due to the fact that two hands were holding me down by my hips. He tsked me with that smirk of his on his face.

"Now, not so fast missy. Don't start something you can't finish," Jax said sternly.

"Oh trust me I won't. After all, why start something that you can't handle?" I mused.

He was about to say something something else, when the teacher walked in.

"Sorry I'm late class, I got caught in something. Miss Grey, could you please take your seat. My morning has been too hectic to deal with the two of you crazy kids today," Ms. Richards laughed. "Anywho, we will be starting a new unit for that rest of the school year, and so the person your sitting next to will be your partner for the rest of the year."

I looked over at Jax and tried, but failed to stifle a groan.
