I sat in my bed, hands trembling, looking at my phone anxiously. I had finally told Micheal that I loved him. I sent the text over ten minutes ago and he still hasn't replied. A thousand thoughts were flying through my mind. "I don't feel the same way about you," or my favorite one, "I love you too."
After staring at my phone for five more minutes, I decided to finally call it a night and go to sleep. Whatever Micheal had to say to my text could wait till the morning. Oh, what am I kidding myself, it couldn't wait. The only reason I decided to go to sleep was the fact I had to get up and go to school in less than five hours. I already knew that I was going to be dead tired in the morning.
Before I knew it, my alarm was going on and I frantically reached around trying to turn it off. When I felt it, I started beating it furiously trying to stop the noise. After a few failed misses, I manage to turn the alarm off. Rolling out of bed, I went to go get a hot and steamy shower. Stepping out, I walked over to my closet and observed my chaos of clothes. With a sigh, I pulled out a pair of blue skinny jeans and a black wife beater. Once I got dressed, I checked my phone to see if I had any messages. With luck, I had one new message.
Remembering last night, I hastily opened the message thinking it was Micheal. A frown crossed my face when i saw it was from a number I didn't recognized. The text said: awh thnx babe i always knew u loved meh ;]
I stared at the text confused. Who the fuck would send me this? I closed the text and got up to walk to Jax's car. I opened the car door and got in. I looked up at Jax to see that he was staring at me.
"What, do I have something on my face?" I asked.
"Well, you have two beautiful blue eyes, a nose, and sexy lips. What else would be on a face?" He said sarcastically.
Ugh, he's such a smart ass. I've known him since I was seven and he was nine. Our families were really close, so we spent most of our childhood together. He used to be really sweet as a kid, but nowadays he was a cocky asshole that has an enormous ego. It's only certain times where I catch him acting like his old self. It's those moments that make him bearable to be around him.
"So, I got your late night booty call," Jax chuckled.
"WHAT?!" I screamed.
"You know, the text you sent me last night saying that you loved me. It was actually pretty sweet. I always knew that you loved me. It's about time that you finally told me," he said amused.
"That was you?" I asked flabbergasted.
"Yep," he smirked.
I was about to say more when we arrived at school. I slowly got out the car and started towards my class, lost in my thoughts. Maybe, the text was sent to Micheal too. I guess I'll just have to see.
