"Every town has a story.
Every family has secrets.
And every legend begins with blood."
---
One thousand years ago...
The wind screamed through the Evermoor Forest as lightning split the night sky.
Three families stood facing one another beneath an ancient oak older than time itself.
The witches.
The vampires.
The werewolves.
For centuries they had lived together in uneasy peace.
Until someone broke the oldest law.
Blood stained the earth.
Magic shook the heavens.
The moon turned crimson.
An ancient force awakened.
One by one, the elders stepped forward, joining hands as the oldest witch raised hers toward the sky.
"We seal the darkness tonight," she declared.
The vampire elder looked into the forest, his crimson eyes filled with sorrow.
"It will never stay buried."
The Alpha lowered his head.
"It doesn't have to."
The witch closed her eyes.
"It will return."
"When?" the vampire asked quietly.
She opened her glowing silver eyes.
"When three souls find each other once again."
The wind suddenly stopped.
The forest became silent.
Even the moon disappeared behind the clouds.
"The daughter of magic."
"The daughter of forgotten blood."
"And the daughter of the night."
"They will become sisters."
"They will become hope..."
"...or they will become the end of us all."
A burst of blinding white light exploded across the forest.
The trees trembled.
The earth cracked.
Then...
Silence.
The truth was buried.
The names were forgotten.
The legend became a bedtime story no one believed.
Until now.

Present Day
Evermoor was the kind of town where nothing ever happened.
Or so everyone believed.
Tomorrow, three girls would walk through the doors of Evermoor High School.
Emily Kleinhans.
Katherine Hart.
Rose Evermoor.
Best friends.
Ordinary teenagers.
Completely unaware...
...that their story had already been written long before they were born.
