After taking a break from that specific fandom, I had almost nine months to realise what problems this show has. I'll not be mentioning anything about Vivzie's past, because that's not my business.
But, here goes, I suppose.
This will NOT be targeting the creator of the show, merely trying to understand some ideas of it. To anyone who likes the show, it's fine. To anyone who doesn't, it's fine too. I'm just looking deeper into the heavily discussed-some not that much-topics.

FIRST OF ALL: BEFORE YOU GUYS COME ON TO ME, I KNOW THE SHOW IS CONSIDERED SATIRE TO CHRISTIANITY, BUT THE LINE BETWEEN SATIRE AND OFFENSIVE IS VERY THIN AND MANY TIMES HAS BEEN CROSSED.
WHEN IT BEGAN FOR ME:
I began watching the show a couple of years ago. It was early, somewhere around the time that season one had just dropped after fans were waiting for it for almost five years. It was when I was developing my obsession for animation shows and wanted to explore more of it.
I had yet to discover what indie animation was and take a walk through the world of the internet, so when I accidentally stumbled across a music video posted by Prime Video itself, called Loser Baby, you can tell that I was intrigued.
So, while at a sleepover with my friend, we decided to begin watching it. My friend dropped it around episode two, when she realised she didn't care much for it. She then proceeded to watch a movie about a man kidnapping a teenager girl. I, on the other hand, sat down and continued watching.
The show wrote that it was for 18+ which immediately threw me off a bit, but I was interested in the ideas of a show talking about Hell and Heaven that simply. So, I kept watching.
THE RATING:
Even when I began watching the show I could tell from early episodes. This show was not meant for children. On top of the screen it even had trigger warnings. But as I explained later, I wanted to find out more about the concepts of Paradise for other people, and the idea of the show itself was extraordinary.
It talked about how even bad people could redeem themselves. Could get past their sins and have a chance to Heaven. I liked that. The idea was there. And after learning the actors, I was even more surprised. Keith David, Stephanie Beatriz, etc. Plus, it was a musical and the songs seemed to be bangers.
Isaiah 1:18: "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool." (Supports Charlie's idea that anyone can be washed clean of sin).
