"Huh!!?"

"Are we going to stay here?" In this bhoot Bangala!!?

Are this Raja's/ Maharaja's are idiots from the times of their ancestors or they are modern idiots?

Who buys the whole Banglow just for two people to stay?

Also for just two days!!

"I tried to look for a hotel but couldn't find any." He replied, uninterested as always.

"Hahaha..." He was looking for a hotel in the village where briefly even the network had.

He ignored my mocks, and lowered his eyes back to his laptop typing something there. Sliding his specs up, he forced his gaze to the screen.

I sighed, turning towards the stairs which was way too large. A group of people can easily walk through them at the same time. "At least, let's see this place." I hummed, to my own words and stepped into the stairs.

I climbed a sweeping double staircase covered in rich deep red carpeting, curving gracefully upward from a central landing. As I lifted my gaze upward, my eyes met with an enormous
crystal chandelier hanging from the centre of the ceiling, with several smaller
chandeliers and wall-mounted candelabra adding warm, golden light.

My breath almost came in gaps, when my gaze landed on a magnificent painted ceiling featuring a large classical fresco with numerous human figures, cherubs, and mythological or allegorical scenes set against a deep blue sky.

Extensive glided ornamentation, with nearly every architectural surface covered in intricate gold leaf carvings, floral motifs, scrollwork, and decorative moldings. As I reached the top of the stairs, my eyes were already in awe of this Palace's beauty found another heavenly side to look for. Towering white marbles with elaborately glided capitals, framing the walls and adding to the room's grandeur.

Even the corridors had their own beautiful architecture, how much money did they have been used to design all this? With every steps, classical paintings of old times were set within ornate frames, and niches along the upper walls, complementing the ceiling fersco.

As I walked further in, a few classic upholstered chairs and Piano comes into the view. I walked upto a piano which was a bit more darker and older than two of them. It was open, and even though having this old. There were no dust in it, a book was opened in the piano stand, which sentences were out of my syllabus. So, I found it better to not try either that Muchhad Maharaja will kill me.

"Maharaj Yuvraj Singh Chauhan!!" I mimicked his exact tone, he used when I first met him in his hotel room.

I chuckled, resting my fingers on the keys of the Piano and played a random tune. It sounds good, but too mysterious for this Shahi Mahal.

"Saanvi!" A sweet small voice reached my left ear, as soon as I stopped playing. I turned towards my side and found noone. I shake my head, and turned to walk away. When my dupatta tugged from behind all sudden, and same voice called again.

I instantly closed my eyes, and tightened my grip on my blue kurta to ground me. I tried to move forward, but the dupatta was tugged tighter. I lifted my hand to reach to my shoulder to open the safety pin and drop the dupatta.

My hands halted in the moment, the same voice comes from closer than before. And a footsteps of someone can be clearly heard from behind me. How could it be her? S-she can't be here.

The steps gets even closer and the voice started getting louder and louder with each steps they coming closer. My breath was halted till yet, and I closed my eyes in fear. I dig my nails into my arms to keep me grounded at the present moment as longer as I could.

"Miss Sharma!" The Muchhad Maharaja voice breaks the loop, before I almost get diz.

After a moment, the steps stopped and I could no longer heard the voice. My breath came out shattered as I finally let it flow, and my body relaxed a little to hear his voice for the first time since all this. But, still someone could be behind me. The thought itself of her shook my breath again. Immediately, I turned my head to look if it was even there, and found nothing. And my dumb dupatta got stuck in the chair's nail. I shake my head and scolded myself for giving me an heart attack almost.

"Miss Sharma!!" Muchhad Maharaja's voice came again. Let's go, Saanvi! Either this Muchhad killed me before her!

As I take a step forward, to get out of here. I felt a tug behind me, as if someone just came too closer to me and I felt their breath on my neck.

"Saanvi!"
