Young EC's POV:
I was with my parents as we're outside of the family house, in a little but peaceful town of Green Hills, but I only say the Graceful Heart of Montana. I lightly itched my right arm since it's wrapped and I chuckled softly. "Hey, I'm Erwina Wachowski. I was born with these birthmarks and my arm is wrapped." I said in practice with a small smile. "Good job." My mom said, and hugged me. "That's exactly what we practiced." My dad said, smiled softly. I chuckled softly with a cheeky smile. My dad fixed my bandage. "Okay, let's try this with a new view. We'll pretend to be the other kids." My mom said before they turned and they turned again, pretending to be cheerful. "Hiya!" My mom said, pretending to be a young girl. I couldn't help but giggle. "Ahoy there! Do you wanna play hide and seek?" My dad asked as he got me up to my feet. "Okay!" I said cheerfully. "Okay. We'll hide and you will come find us." Dad said. "Okay." I said cheekily before lightly turning around and covered my eyes. "One. Two. Twee. Four. Five. Six. Seven. E-Eight. Nine. Te-." I said before I stopped because I heard laughter and saw some kids playing tag. I smiled and was ready to go, but forgot about the river that divides. "Can I go and play with them?" I asked softly as I went forward. "EC!" Mom warned. Dad ran before grabbing me fast by my waist to stop me. "Whoa whoa whoa, sweet pea." Dad said. "Sweetie, we stay away from the river, especially when it's rushing during its days." Mom said as they walked me away from the edge. I chuckled in embarrassment. "Oh yeah." I said. "It's a good thing I caught you. Otherwise you would've washed away." Dad said as he sets me down. Then I frowned softly upon the statement and turns gently to them. "What if I did?" I asked. Then they comforted me. "Then we will never stop looking for you." Dad said. "As long as you promise to keep the wrap on your arm safe and have the jacket on to hide the patterns. Even if you're growing up, remember to change the jacket, but this one is special for you to have and I know you will be able to keep it close. As long as we see you with the jacket, we'll never forget our special girl." Mom said before putting the yellow jacket with neat color splats on my shoulders. I smiled at the jacket before hugging them and they hugged back. Yet, this is just the beginning of my worries.
A few days later
3rd POV:
A young couple were hiking through the woods when the wife heard a faint yelp of 'hello'. "Did you hear that?" The wife asked. "Hear what?" The husband asked. "I-I-I don't know. I could have sworn I heard someone say 'hello'." The wife said. "Who? I didn't hear anybody say 'hello'." The husband said. "I-I-I don't know. I just heard someone say 'hello'." The wife argued. "Yeah, there's a few people here, anybody, literally, anybody could've just said 'hello'." The husband said calmly. "Hello?!" The voice said a little louder. "There." The wife said. "Where?" The husband asked. "Hello?!" The voice whimpered again. "There! There, right there." The wife said as she pointed to the figure near the river. They quickly ran to the river. "Oh my goodness, it's a child." The wife said as they ran towards the figure fast. The child whimpered softly as she looked up before she saw the couple. "Hi, I'm Erwina, can you please help me?" She asked worriedly. "Okay. Erwina, where are your parents?" The wife asked. "Can you give us a description of them?" The husband asked. EC tried to think before moaning weakly as her head hurt from the unexpected pain. "I'm sorry... my memories must've disappeared after I hit something hard behind my head." EC said meekly as she lightly clenched the hem of her yellow jacket. "Um... just... wait right here, okay?" The wife said before pulling her husband to the side. "What do we do?" She asked him. "I don't know, well I mean, eh." He said as he shrugged softly. "Wha- she clearly has amnesia. She can't remember what her parents look like." The wife argued. "She could come from anywhere." The husband said, which made her dumbfounded. "Wow. You are... you are no help today. Say, Erwina, how about we-." The wife said as she turned but stopped as she saw EC was gone. "Erwina?" The wife asked. "Erwina?" The husband called out.
Young EC's POV:
I kept walking through the woods as I kept trying to remember. I whimpered more as the sun goes down and I walked into the cave as I heard the storm rumbling nearby and I cried softly as I sat on the stone in the cave. "Just keep praying, keep looking, keep going. What do we do? We pray, look and move forward." I sang softly in fear as I heard the storm over me and rain poured hard. Then I heard a young boy's voice, "I TOLD you that if you mess with my Nunchucks of Lightning, something like this could happen!" Then another girl's voice. "And I kept TELLING you, I never tagged it." Another girl's voice said. "Sorry. I didn't mean to snap. I'm still getting used to your short-term memory loss." The boy said again. "It's fine." Another girl said as they stepped closer. "Hello?" I whimpered a bit. "What was that?" The girl asked. "I could've sworn I heard a voice." The boy said. Then a lightning flashed and I screamed in fear from the lightning and hugged myself fast. Yeah, I also have a great fear of thunderstorms, the loud ones in fact. "You okay?" The boy asked. I saw them come into the cave and shook my head. "N-No I'm lost, I'm cold and I'm hungry." I whimpered. "What's your name?" The boy asked. "E-Erwina. But my folks called me EC." I said softly. "Nice to meet you, EC. I'm Jay, and this is Carolyn." The boy named Jay said. "Waddup, girl? You must've been lost. Come on, we got a place up the hill. Better than being here in a cold cave." The girl named Carolyn said happily. I smiled gently. Maybe they could help me. So I got up gently and followed them fast through the rain. I soon told them about my situation and they offered to help! So the next day after the storm passed last night, I sat on the back of Jay's bike as the two were biking down to the road and we headed towards East. "Hey, could you maybe help us? Our friend lost her parents." Jay explained. "Oh, where did you see them?" A woman asked. "Well, it's a long story. My head must've hit something hard. It blanked on me." I said with a worried smile. "Oh. I'm sorry. I wish I could help." The woman said. "Thanks anyway." Jay said before he and Carolyn biked off to go the next one. But as we asked each person or group, the answers were the same, even as the three of us grew into teenagers. I also learned that Jay was from a place called Ninjago where he was the Elemental Master of Lightning. "You don't say." I said as we stopped at the supermarket. "Yep. There's TONS of Elemental Masters out there. But there's 2 INCREDIBLY RARE ones." Jay explained "Two rare ones?" I asked as I got off and Jay and Carolyn parked their bikes. "Yeah. Apparently one of them is the Elemental Master of Love and another is the Elemental Master of Spirit." Jay explained. "Whoa.." I said as we walked in for a look around. "Yeah. Wait, what are we asking people about again?" Carolyn asked. Jay and I sighed softly. Yeah, Jay did told me she has short-term memory loss. So this was normal for her. "We're gonna ask nice folks about my parents." I reminded her with a cheeky smile. "Oh yeah." Carolyn said. "Come on, let's get started." Jay said. Just as we're about to ask the first person, we heard a rushing engine then we saw the limo rushed on the road fast. "Geez! Some people just don't know how to drive!" Jay said. "Please, a black car!" A deep New York accent voice called out. We three rushed towards the sounds. "It took our baby sister! Our baby sister! Help us, please!" A second voice shouted. "Look out!" Carolyn shouted as we yelped and we bumped into four people. Only they weren't exactly people. They're mutants! "Oh, we're sorry!" Carolyn said as we stood up fast. "We didn't see you! Hey, are you guys okay?" Jay asked. "She's gone.." The third voice said worried. "There there. It's alright, it'll be okay." I said in my soothing voice. "No, no no. It's not gonna be okay! We've gotta find that limo!" The mutant in the purple mask panicked. "A limo? Hey, we've seen the limo!" Jay said as we all stood up. "You have?!" The red masked turtle asked. "Uh-huh. This way, it went this way! Follow us!" Carolyn said as she headed for her bike and Jay and I followed the turtles to their ride. "Thank you! Thank you, thank you so much!" The blue masked turtle said. And that's how we met the turtles, rescued their baby sister, made new friends and etc. Now it's time for the quiet moment.. or so we all thought.
