Me and the people I work with were in a building because there was supposedly a chemical leak.

"Hey, can you check if anyone is cleaning that back room over there?" One of the guys asked me. The room was different then I remembered, endless yellow hallways, damp carpet, flickering fluorescent lights, and complete silence except for a constant electrical hum.

I stepped farther in to see if anyone else was there, but I started to get really dizzy. Before I could turn around, I fell on the ground and passed out.

When I woke up, I was still in the lobby, but not where I was when I entered. Still the same yellow wallpaper and annoying buzz, but in the middle of absolutely nowhere. Taped on one of the walls was a paper.

"That thing doesn't want us to escape," was written on the top. In the middle of the paper was a drawing of a vent with the word "Exit" above it, and another drawing of a goofy doodle of a monster that looks like it's made of black spaghetti.

"Hello?" I yelled, but no response. "Hello?!?!" I screamed louder, but the only sound was the electric hum and the echo of my own voice.
I started walking around the infinitely long room. The walls seemed to have no pattern on how they were made. I continued walking and walking but there was absolutely no end. There was this one section that the lights had turned off, leaving it in complete darkness, I stayed away from it though.

After endless walking for well over twenty minutes, something unexplainable happened. I turned a corner and not even thirty feet in front of me, the entity from the paper. A tall, thin humanoid creature with long limbs, dark skin, and a distorted face. Its body appears twisted and unnatural, giving it an eerie, inhuman appearance.

A loud roar came out from it as it started chasing me through the lobby. I was sprinting as fast as I possibly could, taking every turn to try and lose it, but the roar and stomping was never stopping. Eventually, the stomping seemed to get quieter, or farther away.

When there was no sign of the monster, I fell on the ground gasping for air. The hazmat suit made it way harder to run, but I wasn't gonna take the risk of taking it off.

I laid there trying to catch my breath for around 5 minutes. When I got up, I saw the paper on the wall, I was back where I started.

Step after step after step after step, I walked for hours, carefully checking for any creatures hiding past the turns.

"Hey! Is this a prank!?" I yelled "is this all some kind of joke?!?" I continued to walk around, starting to run. "When I get out of here, I'm suing whoever is doing this!!! I hope you're listening!!!"

Once I got tired of running again, I stopped to catch my breath and punched the wall. "Let- let me- Let me out," I managed to say in between breaths.

I looked forward and saw a wooden door on the wall.

"Haha you sneaky bastards! I found the exit!" I yelled while running up to it. I twisted the door knob, but it didn't move, it was locked.

I took my hand off the door and stood there for a few seconds before falling backwards and sitting against a wall.

"Please... Just let me out..." I begged, but still no response. I ended up falling asleep for a second, couldn't have been for long though. When I woke up and saw that I was still locked in this hell, I started to tear up a bit, but it was not the time for tears, I had to get out, I had to find the key.

I decided I was going to try and be a little bit smarter about where I was walking, so instead of randomly strolling all over the place, I started going right so that I knew how to get back to the door, if I went right to the end and didn't find the key, I would turn around and go left. But turning left would not be necessary.

I found a room full of broken ladder pieces and a square in the wall. The square hole was probably around 2x2x2 feet and 10 feet off the ground. I gathered all the ladder pieces to the center of the room and started assembling it as best as I could.

After using pretty much all of my braincells, the ladder was mostly together. I leaned it against the wall and climbed up to the hole. Inside the hole was the key, so now all I needed was to get back to the door and absolutely kill whoever locked me in here.

That was easier said than done, however. I ended up getting lost almost immediately. I turned a corner and saw the arm of that monster thing from earlier. Luckily it didn't see me from behind the wall. I started slowly backing away until it let out a loud roar, then i started running, it didn't chase me though.

I somehow ended up back in the key room, so I turned around and tried to reach the door unlike last time. This time, I actually got to it, I was finally going to escape.

The door slowly creeped open, but it didn't lead out, it led to another yellow lobby.

This one was slightly different. There was a big open space with giant square holes leading down to death. The floor that I could walk on was pretty small, but still manageable. Once I stepped on to walk to the other side, I started feeling a small push to the right, into the hole.

I leaned over to the left to balance it out while walking forward, but the force started pushing to the left. After continuing to balance myself while walking across, I made it to the other side.

There was a small room with a vest on the wall. There was a smiley face written in marker on the wall with an arrow pointing it to the vent. Did I finally find the end?
