[ToastedGhost (Toast x Ghost); Masturbation, solo, hentai game (briefly), fantasies; Afab anatomy
Description: Ghost attempts to goon playing a hentai game, but his mind keeps drifting back to his partner and lifelong best friend. And he doesn't exactly mind.]
Ghost is so, so bored. He leans back against the couch lazily, idly watching the TV. Like he has been for a few hours, now. Nothing good is on, in his opinion. And even if there were, he probably wouldn't be able to focus on it, anyway, considering the mood he's in.
And judging by how shit he's been feeling lately, Shark Week's probably coming up, soon...
He and Toast have been home all day, and have been doing absolutely nothing. Well, Ghost has. Toast has actually been pretty productive in getting through his reading list with the extra free time.
Ghost turns his head to the side, seeing Toast absorbed in the latest one of his rented books, as he sits in the study (i.e, a corner of the room they've squeezed a bookshelf and desk into).
Toast leans back in the rickety old office chair as the reading glasses threaten to slide off his face, too engrossed in his book to even notice. The light from the open blinds bounces off his lenses and frames his face against the setting sun.
Ghost catches himself staring and looks away, resting his elbow against the arm of the couch, leaning against his hand. A rare day when they get to relax, no calls, no problems with the apartment (like the fridge suddenly breaking down or the signal disconnecting every two seconds), and no panicked calls from the interns on a solo case, and he's spending it being bored out of his mind.
Speaking of their interns, though, if it were up to Ghost they would never be allowed to take cases on their own, at all. Yet, at least. Last time those two had a solo case, it ended with the house they were investigating collapsing with everyone inside. They're just lucky nobody was hospitalized, and the clients decided not to sue.
He grimaces at the reminder, shaking the thoughts of Spooker and Colon out of his head. Seeing as the TV isn't helping, he retreats into his mind to try and find something more interesting. Could he just pick up a book and read like Toast? Or file some paperwork for the last few cases? Maybe. But reading sounds too boring right now, and Toast has probably already filed all the cases, so he finds it even more acceptable to daydream instead.
As he attempts to imagine the last clients they helped, they fade in as more amorphous blobs of color than anything. Vague and indistinguishable.
Closing his eyes to get a more precise image, dark outlines dance onto the blobs, helping shape them into a clear vision.
It was an interesting case, he supposes, more interesting than a Level 3, at least. Not too hard to be more interesting than that, but at least it was memorable. The spirit was originally super friendly until the couple just kept arguing, which made the spirit get fed up with them and start trashing the house. And by the time he and Toast got there, the place was entirely torn up, everywhere except for the basement, surprisingly. The spirit thought that the basement was too cozy to mess with.
He sighs as the memory bores him. It wasn't that interesting a case... Though one part was; The couple was arguing over the fact that one of them wanted to get into sex work.
And that train of thought jumps him onto another one, the images of the last porn video he watched.
Kind of jarring, but honestly? That's the most engaging thing to think of right now. So, his brain's random jump to this is really doing him a favor, more than anything.
He pushes out the memory of the clients and focuses on the two faceless guys from the video. One was on a pole, dancing for the other, and the one sitting down kept fondling the guy above him.
As the memory plays out, Ghost sighs softly as his hand moves down to his thigh, and he resists the urge to move it down even farther.
'That's probably a sign,' opening his eyes back up, he looks over to see if Toast had noticed how he was acting. He hasn't even taken his eyes off his book.
