As I settled around my new classroom, Mrs. Hea, my homeroom teacher, handed everybody a piece of paper with a writing prompt.
Happy 1st Day! Write a letter to yourself to look at during the end of the school year.
I'm Ein. My life is what people may call boring. Normal parents, average grades. I don't stand out in this class or anywhere to be exact. I'm not good at anything, nor do I have dedication towards anything, but I want to fix it.
At first, I wanted to magically repair everything wrong, but it seems almost impossible. So first, I want to find a community of people that could help me find my passion. It seems easy enough for the year.
I've never understood this word, as many people often twist and shift the definition constantly, but I promise myself, I'll live a better and happier life.
I looked around the classroom to see a bunch of students entering, but only 1 had caught the attention of one.
(P.S And maybe, if you feel extra confident, maybe confess your love to Eris..)
I fold the paper neatly and place it on the side of my bookbag where my water bottle hangs. The bell rings and starts the beginning of the second period.
