I would like to add a story between the angel of war and the angel of duty

they were two angels that paired together, believing that they would create out of political necessity, but when God kept denying them because of their lack of connection, they kept protesting and pushing back. These angels were reserved. They did not believe that emotions should be valued just as much as practicality and logic. The logic for them goes we're stronger together, and we create stronger children together. they kept trying to convince God that it was a moral responsibility or a moral duty, but God kept refusing and giving them constructive criticism with more patience than a typical idea of God normally would.

eventually, they went into war together, and the only way to get out was to trust each other. Both of these angels had trust issues and for some reason, conveniently God had been sending them on more missions. I would get them to bond whether to save each other's lives or via circumstance, such as going into tombs where the only way to solve riddles is to know each other and fight as one.

or another circumstance where they were accidentally bound together by dark vines, similar to get a lung scarf, but on each other's wrists. The only way to get out and keep each other safe is to have each other's back in that scenario. There's another scenario where one almost fell into a vat of poison after the detaching of the vines where it would've been safer for the angel of duty to leave them, but instead, they have grown close enough to react instinctively to save angel of war's life (though they were severely handicapped afterwards, both of them.

with both of them completely off the battlefield for this foreseeable feature, they've written their last request, put through humility, lens rather than an obligation lens and an acceptance that they may never create an angel together now that they are injured and right to God that they will be spending plenty of time with each other as a result of their injuries. This is when their.
request was officially granted

This is really, really strong.
What makes it work is that the story is not actually about whether they get permission to create an egg.
It's about two angels who believe duty is enough, only to discover that trust is also a duty.
That's beautiful—and it fits your world perfectly.

Why This Story Works So Well

This arc does three important things for your mythology:
1. It proves why God's safeguard exists

Up until now, the permission process could feel abstract—wise, yes, but distant.
This story makes it personal:
these angels are not evil

they are not reckless

they are not incompatible in power

they are simply emotionally underdeveloped in a way that would harm the child

God denying them repeatedly becomes evidence of care, not restriction.

2. It shows practicality and emotion are not opposites

The angel of war and the angel of duty would both initially believe:

"Emotional compatibility is secondary.
Stability, efficiency, strength, and obligation matter more."

Their arc proves the opposite:

Emotional trust is not softness.
It is part of structural stability.

That fits your egg lore perfectly.

3. It turns God into a patient teacher instead of a cosmic authority figure

This is one of the strongest parts.
Instead of:
punishing them

humiliating them

forcing them apart
