Little introduction

Hello, beautiful people!

Before we begin, let's get one thing straight.

Actually... let's get one thing gay

This story is based on the Off Campus universe created by the amazing Elle Kennedy. All credit for the original characters, world, and hockey idiots goes to her. I simply borrowed them for a little while and thought:

"What if we added one sarcastic lesbian hockey goalie, put her in the boys' hockey house, and made Allie Hayes question her sanity?"

And honestly?

Things got out of hand very quickly.

While the original books and the TV series inspired this fanfiction, I decided pretty early on that I didn't want to spend thirty chapters following Hannah and Garrett's romance when Elle Kennedy already did that perfectly.

So while Hannah, Garrett, and the canon events will still exist in the background, this story is mainly focused on Y/N and Allie, as well as Y/N's friendship with the hockey boys. Think of the original story as the road map and this fanfiction as me taking several questionable exits along the way.

Will I follow the timeline exactly?

No.

Will I follow every scene exactly?

Also no.

Will I occasionally steal canon moments and shamelessly make them about Y/N instead?

Absolutely.

This is a slow-burn lesbian enemies-to-lovers story, which means these two idiots are going to spend a lot of time annoying each other before anything remotely romantic happens. There will be tension, banter, hockey, emotional damage, found family, and Y/N acting like she has a personal mission to get under Allie's skin.

There will also be:

* Hockey.
* More hockey.
* Dean being a menace.
* Garrett suffering.
* Logan accidentally being everyone's favorite.
* Tucker trying to keep the friend group functional.
* Hannah wondering why she knows these people.
* Allie losing arguments.
* Y/N starting arguments.

And because life apparently wasn't chaotic enough already, I am also writing this story while rereading Percy Jackson, which means there is a very real chance that while writing this, I suddenly get distracted thinking about demigods, blue food, and why Percy Jackson remains one of the greatest fictional characters ever created.

If that happens, we simply blame Rick Riordan and move on.
