SOULMATES | SPIN-OFF| BTS x GL|

New Session

Jamsil High School, a new session as began two days back, some faces were new and some were old yet there wasn't any difference. 

"Hey bitches!" A yell went across the classroom as the door was slid open but surprisingly no one reacted much because it was their normal. 

Shin Hari walked closer to her best friend's desk as if she didn't scream her lungs out. Settling down beside her she pulled out a can of coffee. 

With a glint of mischief in her eyes, she licked her lips glancing side ways at the figure of a girl with her head in between her arms and hair covering her face. 

Hari placed the can near the girl's ear and shook it wildly then as she planned she was going to open the can... just then the girl lifted her head, her gray eyes shooting a cold look that made Hari roll her eyes. 

"You ruined everything, Lee Y/n." Hari whined placing the unopened can back in her bag. Y/n sat straight, rolling her sore neck and stretching her arms. 

Just then someone entered and sat on the desk in front of them. "I thought you were bunking today." Hari commented. The person turned to face two of them. 

"Kang Yeji, what example would you set for you younger sister if you would've bunked?" Hari continued, getting a smack on her forearm. 

Y/n watched their dramatics, just then someone placed three notebooks on their desk, looking up Yeji said, "Thank you, Jimin." 

Jimin shrugged, "Its my job. I'm class representative." Yeji shook her head and cleared, "Not for this but for helping my sister look around on her first day." 

"You sister?" Jimin's tone was surprised, he continued," Who is she?" Hari rolled her eyes, replying instead, "Kang Yeri. Yeji's twin." 

"That's why your faces look similar!" Another voice, exclaimed. "Tae, stop it!" Jimin glared at his best friend. 

Well these are Park Ji-min and Kim Tae-hyung the famous soulmate duo of this classroom and of Jamsil as well. Just how calm and obedient Jimin is, Taehyung is as chaotic and rebellious. Another fact about them is that they are friends Kang Yeri. 

"But you both don't interact." Taehyung pointed out. "Because, Yeri has her own life, duh!" Hari answered sarcastically. 

Before Taehyung could blabber any further y/n's cold voice met them, "Enough discussions for today. Now leave us alone." 

They glanced at Y/n who was staring at both of them, Jimin smiled awkwardly and nodded taking Taehyung away. 

There was still time in school. Other classmates were gossiping and here Hari was explaining about some new rom-com—she discovered midnight because she was bored—to Yeji. 

Y/n leaned back, her eyes on the playground outside where juniors played football. Just when her gaze shifted towards the door—

A girl entered in her neatly ironed school uniform with a school bag slug over her shoulder. Taehyung's muffled voice met Y/n's ears,"Yeri, finally, you're here!" 

Y/n blinked her eyes once feeling someone's hand over her shoulder. "Are you even listening?" Hari whined and then suggested, "You both should try this drama once." 

Yeji rolled her eyes but she kept glancing at Yeri and both—Y/n and Hari—knew about it but they ignored because they were totally aware of Yeji's protective nature for Yeri. 

Y/n stood up and walked out of the classroom without any interaction but both Yeji and Hari knew where they were going. 

They entered terrace, Yeji closed the door behind and moved closer to Hari and Y/n, accepting cigarette from Hari. 

As they smoked, Hari started seriously, "As far as I know, Yeri was studying in different school, then her joining Jamsil out of nowhere..." 

Yeji exhaled smoke while leaning against the terrace railing, eyes fixed on the campus below, "She was getting bullied in her previous school."  

Y/n glanced at Yeji once then back at sky, smoke curling between them. The silence stretched. Hari sighed before asking, "What did you do with that person?" 

Yeji's eyes darkened as she said, "Oh, you don't even want to know where she's rotting." Yeji's tone was dark. Hari laughed loudly, "As expected from you." She chuckled out. 

But Y/n her eyes were distant as if she was calculating something that lies at the other end of this world. This new session is going to be interesting.

Soon, lunch break arrived. Sitting at their usual table, Yeji and Hari ate their food while Y/n slept, unbothered. Just then as if curse to her peace, people settled over the table next to hers. 

Yeri with her friends, talking and laughing loudly. Yeri with her friends as in—Kim Nam-joon, Kim Seok-jin, Min Yoon-gi, Jung Ho-seok, Park Ji-min, Kim Tae-hyung, and Jeon Jung-kook. 

Four of Yeri's friends—Seokjin, Yoongi, Namjoon and Hoseok—are seniors and one of them—Jungkook—is a junior.

Y/n sighed sitting straight. Her eyes on the table in front where her boba tea was kept. She picked up the glass. 

"I thought you were going to sleep." Hari said with her mouth full. Y/n glanced at Yeri's table once then back at her drink. 

"I'm going to rooftop." She informed, stood up and left from there. Yeji and Hari watched her back leave and gave each other a look then shrugged and resumed eating. 

"Who knows what goes in that head of her?" Yeji remarked, shaking her head. Hari chuckled and answered, "Whatever goes in there is definitely not sane to our ears." "Indeed." Yeji replied and they continued their lunch. 

Whereas on the table beside their, someone went completely silent. "What happened, noona?" Jungkook asked. 

Yeri shook her head, taking a bite of her food but her eyes kept glancing at her sister's table. "Now, I know why she's so restless!" Seokjin exclaimed. 

Yeri's eyes widened but before she could say anything Seokjin burst the bubble, "Y/n has left the cafeteria!" 

They all glanced the table beside their and found only Hari and Yeji having their lunches. Yeri groaned, throwing her head back. 

"Why do you even like her?" Taehyung grumbled, stuffing half a Kimgap roll in his mouth. "Yeah, she's kinda rude." Jimin expressed. 

"Kinda?" Taehyung muffled with his mouth full. "Don't speak with your mouth full!" Hoseok glared, making Taehyung gulp down the kimbap in one go. 

He continued, "She is always rude." Taehyung mimicked, "Enough discussions for today. Now leave us alone." Jimin chuckled. 

Yeri smiled dreamily as she spoke, "I mean that's why!" She leaned forward, whispering, "She's full of mystery. She attracts me." 

Her eyes were sparkling and lips had that foolish love-sick smile etched as she continued, "She doesn't speak much. Only when necessary. Oh god! I can't tell you guys, how much I love her!" She giggled. 

"Be careful, Yeri." Yoongi said, calmly. "Sometimes, silence brings storms no one warns us about..." he continued. The thoughtful silence settled between them.
