It was the summer holidays and you were bored out of your mind.

You had hardly left the house all summer, as your parents didn't want to risk anyone knowing you were a witch, despite the fact you were underage and couldn't use magic outside of school. They wanted everyone to think you were a perfect, normal family and you didn't meet the standards. They were proud of ypu, when no one was around. They did give you the wizarding money you needed, enough to buy school stuff and have a little extra, to spend in Hogsmeade.

You were constantly counting down the days, until you could see your three best friends again. Ron, Harry and Hermione were two years younger than you, but it didn't matter. They hung out more as a trio, but you liked being on your own as well. You had helped them on more than one occasion.

This summer, Ron had invited you all to go to the final of the Quidditch World Cup, with him and his family. You, being an avid Quidditch player and fan, instantly said yes.

You had already received your Hogwarts letter, containing your exam results, as you had taken your Ordinary Wizarding Levels, last year. You received Outstanding in Herbology, Astronomy, Transfiguration, Charms, Defense Against the Dark Arts, History of Magic, Study of Ancient Runes, Care of Magical Creatures and (to your surprise) Potions. Those were all of the classes you had taken, so you were overjoyed.

You decided what textbooks you'd be needing, as you were dropping a lot of subjects. You crossed off everything you didn't need and added things, like owl treats and ink. You also needed dress robes, for some strange reason.

The week before they arrived dragged by, awfully slowly. You were running out of chores to occupy yourself. There was nothing that could make you stop thinking about it.

Finally, the time came and you were ecstatic. You carefully packed your trunk and small owl and waited eagerly for them to turn up. Your parents had gone out, after saying a brief farewell. Not that you minded; the Weasleys were practically your second family, anyway.

Four figures flew out of the fireplace. Mr Weasley, Ron and his older brothers, Fred and George. They were in your year, but you had always been too shy to make friends with them. They were very popular and well known, but you were the opposite. You were all on the Gryffindor Quidditch team, but your old captain, Oliver Wood, never let anyone socialise much during practice. In the common room, you were usually reading, away from everyone else. You had always found it odd; Fred and George were notorious for their pranks and nearly everyone had been a victim to one, at some point, but not you.

"Are you ready?" Ron asked. You nodded, more than eager to leave and finally enjoy the summer.
"We have to get Harry, as well. So I'll send your luggage on ahead." Mr Weasley said, waving his wand at your stuff. It disappeared, on its way to the Burrow.

You stepped into the fireplace after Ron, grabbed the Floo Powder and yelled Harry's address. You shot up the fireplace rapidly, but you were used to it by now. You remember how dizzy it used to make you feel.

The fake fireplace had been boarded up, causing you to be pressed up against Fred, uncomfortably close. You could hear his heart beating rapidly. "Hi." You whispered, looking up.
"Hi." He laughed quietly, so only you could hear him. It was a moment of closeness, unlike anything you'd experienced before.

Mr. Weasley succeeded in breaking open the fireplace and you all tumbled out, laughing. The fireplace had broken, sending bricks and soot everywhere. The living room was covered in rubble and dust, something which amused you.

Harry stood there, with his Aunt, Uncle and cousin, who didn't look at all impressed. Mr. Weasley attempted polite conversation with them, but gave up, realising they were very hostile. Fred was fumbling around with something colourful in a packet, trying to be discreet. He saw you looking and winked, making you blush.

As you were getting ready to leave, Fred spilt a packet of bright cloured toffees everywhere. He offered one to Harry's cousin, who chewed it greedily. You knew, from Harry's letters, that the family were on an intense diet, so of course he would accept any kind of sweet from a stranger. Big mistake.

His tongue began to grow rapidly and soon, it couldn't fit in his mouth. You bit back a fit of giggles. Mr. Weasley ordered you all to go on without him, as he tried to fix the panicking boy.

Once again, you shot up the remains of the, now completely broken, fireplace, after the twins, Ron and Harry.

You landed on your bottom, in the cosy kitchen of the Burrow, your favourite place ever. Someone offered a hand to you and you took it. They were strong and hauled you to my feet effortlessly. "Thanks." You mumbled. "You're welcome." Replied Fred. Somehow, you could tell the twins apart easily and had always been able to.

"Y/N, dear. I sent your stuff up to Ginny's room. She and Hermione are already in there." Molly said, after pulling you into a tight hug. "Okay, Mrs. Weasley. Thank you." You smiled, walking up the stairs. "Call me Molly, dear!" She called, after you. "Okay, Molly." You grin.

You heard a sound and knew Mr. Weasley was back. You could hear him furiously telling off the twins. You heard them walk up the stairs, a while later.

You entered Ginny's bedroom, where she and Hermione were, sitting on her bed. The familiar Weird Sisters and Holyhead Harpies posters brought a small smile to your face. "Hi guys!" You said, sitting next to Hermione, who was engrossed in a book, of course.
"Oh, hello, Y/N." Smiled Hermione, glancing up.
"Hi, Y/N, are you excited for the Quidditch World Cup?" Ginny asked, stroking Saturn's feathers. "Yeah, it's going to be great." You grinned.

There was a knock on the door and George stepped in.
"Hermione. Ron wants to see you in his room." He explained. She got up and left, leaving you and the youngest Weasley alone.

"Shall we go outside, Gin?" You asked, Ginny nodding in response. You walked down the hallway and bumped into someone. "Sorry." Fred said. "No, it was my fault." You insisted. You continued walking, a blush rising to your cheeks, caused by Fred, again. You hoped Ginny didn't notice. Apparently she didn't, as she was talking about how Harry had smiled at her, as he passed her room, earlier.

The two of you went into the garden, where Bill and Charlie were ramming two wooden tables into each other. You already knew Charlie; when you started your first year of school, he was in his sixth. He was the Quidditch captain, for a year, when you joined the team in your second year.

You greeted them all (and introduced yourself to Bill) and watched them continue to bash the tables together. Percy was frowning, in disapproval. You had never really spoken to Percy. Despite the fact that he did everything by the rules and never got into trouble, he was very overwhelming.

Fred and George walked over to you, which was odd. They had never noticed you before. Ginny coincidentally found an excuse to move away and talk to Hermione, leaving you alone with the twins. "Hello?" You said, more like a question. George chuckled lightly and Fred looked uncomfortable, for some reason. "We were just wondering what you got, for your O.W.Ls?" George asked. "Nine O's." You answered, blushing.
"Wow." They stated, in unison. "What classes were you thinking of taking?" Fred asked. "I want to be an Auror. So, it's just going to be Charms, Transfiguration, Potions, Herbology and Defense Against the Dark Arts." You explained. "Looks like you will have the pleasure of sharing most of your classes with Fred and I." George grinned. "Sounds like fun, I can't wait." You smiled. You went to talk to Harry, now feeling very awkward. You were curious as to why the twins had spoken to you, as they never had before.

There was a huge, lovely dinner, cooked by Mrs. Weasley and you all stayed outside for a lot of the evening, as it was warm and didn't get dark for a while.

Eventually, you had to go to bed, as it was getting late and you needed to be up very early, for the Quidditch World Cup.
