Promise me?

Sonia's POV
I thank mum and race on leomdre's skateboard to dance. Its going to be crazy when I meet them again and I am not prepared.

//At the studio//
I sign in and find all the dancers huddled in one place, surrounding two boys... They look familiar... Leondre Devries and Charlie Lenehan.
"Alright class, get into position for One Last Time please." I hear Lucy, my dance instructor commands, but I can't move. Before I know it, I'm 3 metres away from the boy who changed me and left me strandered of a whole year. Tears escape as I run, throw my bag down, strip my top and bottoms on, leaving me in my dance crop top and shorts and I jog to my position as the music starts.

"Come on, Lorraine! Work up like Sonia please. You're lagging behind!" Lucy shouts, whilst clapping her hands to the beat. I'm the soloist so everybody stops and I continue. I don't leave eye contact with Leo... The song ends and nobody is clapping. I snap out of my thoughts to see someone walking up to me. Their eyes are all on him...Leondre is walking up to me. Everybody in this room knows how much this guy meant to me. I take steps back until I fall over and hit my head on the floor.
Rebecca rushes to my side and helps me up, but I stumble down. She runs to get my water bottle not realisih it has pictures of Leondre and I all over.
I moved to Bournemouth to get away from all the depression I had a month later after Leo left. I almost died... Only my mum and the dance squad knows what happened.

Leo's POV
I don't know who she is, yet in my mind I can remember her from somewhere, I decide to walk over to her but she keeps walking away as if she's scared. She collapses on the floor and her friend helps up, but she falls again. I think her friend is called Rebecca. She passes her water bottle over to the girl but she stares in shock everyone does. I take a closer look at the bottle to see me with her all over it... Then it clicks... She's Sonia kaya, my best friend. I try to rush to her side to check I she's alright, only to be stopped by Charlie.

"Don't Leo, I think we should go. She isn't feeling good and it's only making worse if you go to her." He says.
I sigh and walk over to the door to find my skateboard I gave to her before I left.

//flashback//
"Promise you'll never forget me?" Sonia whimpers on my shoulder during our last hug. She pulls something out of her pocket... Its her favourite bracelet he got when she was a child...
"Don't forget me, please." She repeats as she passes it on to me.

"I promise, have my skateboard. Then you won't forget me." I say

"I would never in a million years." she answers. I give her one more kiss on her cheek and I get into my car with Charlie slowly following behind. He whispers something to her ear and walks off.

//End of flashback//
Tears escape my eyes as I stroke the board. Someone coughs right in front of me and I find Sonia stood right there...
