We need to teach you how to be a guy.

He walked in front of me with his arms behind him and legs straight making him look as though he was in the military force, his combat boots adding to the look. "Rule one; you're a gay guy. That means you don't tell people you are straight and take girls phone numbers. If someone gives you a number and you take it they assume  you are into them and want you to call them back." He blanked out for a second before he faced me and sighed. "Just, Luke, just don't take a chicks number if you don't wanna fuck her."

"Aye aye sir" I mock salute him. He cocked a pierced eyebrow at me.

"You into that kinky shit?" I laughed as he looked deadly serious but the corner of his mouth twitched telling me he wasn't completely mad at me. I don't like it when he's made at me. He gets aggressive with everyone and either ignores me or screams. Sometimes he throws things and he gets into a state of mind where no one can talk to him without getting hurt. I learnt that the hard way, with seven stitches.

"Okay so thats our lesson for today I can leave now. Unless of course you're willing to feed me." Rolling my eyes I picked up my phone from beside me and called dominoes. (pizza)

-

Two pizzas and three movies later Michael got a call from Calum telling him he had to come home because Ashton had burst a water main and the plumber was unavailable.

"Now that is some kinky shit."

He laughed and stood, wiping the grease on his thighs then climbed over me to leave, stopping to kiss my head before leaving and calling out a farewell over his shoulder. I sighed as he closed the front door. He is never going to like me the same way I like him. Never.

-

The bell rang above the door as I walked into the store. Liz had sent me down to do the grocery shopping for the week and Michael had canceled on me so I had Calum instead. As we walked down the aisles, Calum throwing in the objects from the list in his hands, me leaning against the trolley on my forearms and watching as he sung to the music playing overhead.

"Calum. We don't need bananas."

"And why the fuck not?"

"Because I don't like bananas."

"You like Michael's banana." I choke as he smirked and pulled one of the bananas from the bunch and began thrusting it into his mouth and moaning around it.

"Jesus fuck stop it!" His moans got louder until a voice behind him said. "Sir, if you aren't going to pay for the banana you're currently deep throating I will have to ask you to leave." Calum faced the woman with the banana hanging from his lips and eyes wide. It dropped and he caught it swiftly and wiped the spit from his mouth.

"Will do. Buy it that is, I ain't doing a banana. Ew." The girl rolled her eyes and nodded before walking back to her place behind the checkout. He turned to face me and we both laughed as he threw the banana into the trolley with the rest of the bunch claiming that Ashton could "use some motivation".  We checked off the final item on the list and I let out an over exaggerated sigh and Calum patted my back. "Tough being a guy isn't it?"

"'S not any different 'm just a lazy fuck." He let out a loud laugh then took the trolley from me and began walking us to the checkout. He began to talk to me about Michael and how he new that the coloured haired boy was just as infatuated with me as I was with him. No matter how much I denied it he seemed determined enough to drill it into my head that I began to believe him.

Until I heard it.

Something banging against a wall that might have been someone restocking while blindfolded, but then I heard the muffled groans and moans coming from the next aisle over, to which I pulled a box of cereal off the shelf to see across and I really wish I didn't.

A girl with curly brown hair and dark skin and a boy whose face I couldn't see, passionately making out against the door which said 'employees only'. The boy turned the girl around and I saw his face for a split second but long enough.

Michael.

Gay my ass.

"Oh shit." Calum muttered behind me. I felt tears prickle the corners of my eyes and quickly pulled my sleeve over my fist and wiped my eyes before turning and grabbing the cart from Calum who was frozen, staring at the scene through the cereal boxes.

I quickly placed the items onto the checkout, so quick that the woman from before had to ask me to slow down. She seemed stressed as well and she didn't seem very old, maybe 17. I placed the next item gently down and she gave me a grateful smile. I couldn't bring myself to return it as my mind replayed the scene I had just witnessed.

Michael was kissing someone. Someone who wasn't me. And that someone was a girl.
