The author tries not to use Midorima's name over and over again in the same paragraph. So she ends up writing something like :
I walked into the gym and found Midorima sitting on the bench with a towel on his head. I walked over to my green haired tsundere carrot boyfriend and brushed his hair off his forehead. The tsundere carrot's cheek turned red and he looked away.
" What're you doing here Nanodayo? " asked the tsundere carrot.
I gave the tsundere carrot a warm smile and bent down to hug him tight.
