Never overload the power outlets in the computer room. Never put out an electrical fire with the wrong extinguisher. Remember that opening the case may void the warranty.
Personal safety: Don't give out personal information on the internet. Don't plan meetings with people from the net. Don't respond to online harassment. Keep yourself updated on the latest technology and trends for the Internet. Don't do anything online that you wouldn't do in person. For shared or public computers use a private email address and delete the history and cache files after use. Protect files and emails with encryption like PGP.
