As I walk down the halls with Marie , we're both quiet.

She knows I'm upset.

I miss him. Already.

Marie keeps looking over at me to make sure I'm not crying or something.

"I'm fine okay?!" I say loudly as she keeps looking at me.

A couple tears run down my face.

I have my head down as I stop walking just for a couple seconds wiping tears.

I look up fast and start walking again as I pass Cameron.

Our eyes lock.

I can tell he misses me as much as I miss him.

"Alyssa I-" He stops and his eyes widen.

Everyone in the halls are looking.

My heart starts racing.

Why would a teacher randomly call out a students name is what all my peers must be thinking.

We still haven't broken eye contact. I wonder what he's going to cover up with.

All these thoughts and it's only been a couple seconds since he's said my name.

He looks around and takes way to long to say something so I just walk fast into the bathroom.

I'm in there for a couple minutes. I'm so worried about what people must be thinking.

It's not even about me not getting caught anymore, I just don't want anyone to know.

A group of girls come in and say "Alyssa I-" imitating what Cameron said but in a very dramatic voice.

I just give them a dirty look.

"Look at me like that again." The -what looks like the- leader of the group says.

I turn around and give her the same look. I'm not in the mood for this.

She grabs my shoulder very forcefully pulling me to face her.

I'm really angered right now, I don't have time to deal with this.

I give her a death stare as we're facing each other now.

"Someone's a little pissy. Is Cameron, or should I say. Mr. Dallas not paying enough attention to you?" She says making a pouty face but then starts laughing.

All my anger flows to my hands and I punch her in the face as hard as I can.

What did I just do?!

But I don't regret it. She deserves it.

She holds her hands on the part of her face I punched.

She slowly puts her hands down then suddenly she goes to slap me.

I move out of the way as I attempt to grab her hair but Marie grabs my arm saying "Stop stop!" To the both of us.

I back up a couple steps looking furious as Marie still has grip on my arm and says "okay okay let's go!"

I took a nap after I got home from school, it was a long and bad day.

I wake up seeing 3 missed calls from Cameron and a voicemail.

My heart beats faster of happiness.

I sit up all the way and go to listen to the voicemail.

"Hey uh. Alyssa, I miss you.. So so much. Please just call me when you get a chance."

A smile appears on my face.

I miss him too and I want, no, need him back.

I'm still smiling when I press the call symbol next to his name.

I hold the phone to my face as it rings and rings. No answer.

I try one more time. No answer.

I set my phone down and I click the button on to where my phone is on full volume.

I turn on Netflix to try and distract me on waiting for his phone call.

I was watching for almost 20 minutes when my phone starts ringing.

I jump out fast and grab my phone and answer without even looking at the name.

"Hello?!" I say, with almost to much excitement.

"Hi honey." My moms voice says.

"Oh. Hi." I say with a dull voice.

"Did you hear?"

"Hear what?" I say.

"You didn't hear what happened to your teacher?" My mom says.

Chills go up my body.

"No. No- what teacher?" I say with a shaky voice.

"I know that you have him as a teacher, Mr." She pauses for a second thinking of the name. "Mr. Dallas."

"What happened to him?!" My voice says with lots of concern.

"He was involved with a very, very bad car accident, I just saw it on the news."

I drop my phone and tears run down my face.

This cannot be happening.
