In the year I speak of, a man named Alexandria Marchelo died in a car accident. The newspapers reported it as a tragic emergency: a LaFerrari speeding through the highlands, losing control, and vanishing into the slopes. Officer Luci Sirobyan of the Bern Special Investigation Unit was tasked with overseeing the investigation, responsible for untangling truth from rumor and submitting her findings to the court within seven days.
But accidents rarely are what they seem. Behind the flashing lights, the sirens, and the cold facts, there were hidden threads—threads woven through fear, desire, and choices made in the quiet shadows of the night. For some of us, that night would mark the end of one life and the beginning of another—a life bound together in ways the world would never understand.
