Author's pov

The morning in the city unfolded like a living rhythm. Tall glass buildings caught the early sunlight, reflecting gold and blue across the streets below.cafes breathed out the scent of fresh coffee, and streets pulsed with honking cars and hurried footsteps. People moved fast, traffic flowed endlessly, and the air carried a restless, energetic buzz-another unstoppable morning in the city..

Outside his apartment, Revaansh stood beside his car, pacing back and forth, completely engrossed in a phone call.. One hand held the phone to his ear, the other ran through his hair as his mind stayed focused on work. Waiting for Aariv to join him, he kept circling the car-until, without realizing it, he drifted away from the parking area and stepped onto the footpath.

"This project is extremely important for our company," Revaansh said firmly into the phone.
"There cannot be a single mistake."
He continued talking, unaware of his surroundings.
Suddenly, a car came racing down the road-far too fast. In a sharp, reckless turn, it swerved toward the footpath.
Straight toward Revaansh.
He Still lost in his call, he didn't notice the danger approaching.
The car was seconds away from hitting him-
When someone grabbed him hard and pulled him back.
Revaansh stumbled, the phone nearly slipping from his hand..
Saved.
The car sped past them without stopping, disappearing down the road as if nothing had happened.
The person who had pulled him back was none other than Aariv..

Aariv turned toward the car, fury blazing in his eyes, and shouted,
"If you don't know how to drive, then don't drive! I don't know who gives licenses to idiots like you-who don't even know that cars are meant for the road, not the footpath! "If something had happened to him... stop, you reckless idiot!" Aariv shouted in anger, his eyes blazing as the car sped away without stopping even once.
The car didn't slow down.
The driver didn't even look back.
Aariv stood there, breathing heavily, rage still burning inside him.

"Aariv... Aariv, calm down," Revaansh said, placing a hand on his shoulder..
"Relax. I'm fine..kuch nhi hua hai."

"Toh kya hone ka wait karun?" Aariv snapped back, his anger clearly visible.
"If something had happened to you-"

"But it didn't," Revaansh interrupted calmly.
"I'm absolutely fine."

"And if it had?" Aariv said, his voice suddenly breaking. His anger melted into fear.."Pahele hi boss ko kho chuka hu aab aapko bhi nhi kho skta hu sir.."
{"I've already lost my boss once... I can't lose you too, sir."}
Tears welled up in his eyes as old memories surfaced-pain, guilt, the loss of someone he had been unable to save.

"Aariv..." Revaansh said softly.
Understanding exactly what Aariv was feeling, Revaansh pulled him into a hug.
Aariv's tears finally spilled over.
"Chup ho jaa yaar, mat ro," Revaansh said gently, rubbing his back to calm him..

"After boss left, I handled everything because you are there..you are with me," Aariv said between broken breaths.
"But if you also-"
He stopped, swallowing hard.
"Promise me... promise me that you won't leave me like boss did."

"I promise," Revaansh said firmly.
"I'm not going anywhere."

After a moment, Revaansh broke the hug and forced a lighter tone.
"Chal aab hatt .. People are already staring at us," he said teasingly.
"Nowadays the world is very cheap-you never know what they're thinking about us."
But instead of letting go, Aariv hugged him tighter.
"Let them think whatever they want," Aariv said through his tears, teasing him.
"I don't care."

"Abe hattt!" Revaansh said, trying to pull away.
"Dur reh mujhe se "
{"Stay away from me."}

"Nhi rahunga," Aariv replied, tightening his grip..
