My heart pounded to the beat of my feet racing over the hard ground. The steady thump of my footsteps echoed in my ears. This was happening-again. The only difference was that this time it was real.

The Forces had finally found me. All because of my careless mistake. It had been so cold. After days of lying in the damp, dark cave alone, I had become depressed. Hunger and starvation had made me feel woozy and the thought of a warm fire had never been more welcoming.

It had been days since I ran away. Maybe they had given up on the search. With these thoughts in mind, I weakly pulled myself up from the floor and gathered the twigs lying about and soon had started a weak fire for myself. I will admit, it was comforting.

But the minute the first smoke reached the air the signals started blaring again and the search lights came on. And now I found myself running across the rocky ground.
