A cold-hearted reunion

Lie-in: That Yo-kai...

Y/N: Lie-in?

Lie-in: Why? Why did it feel familiar?

Y/N: Yo, Lie. [Claps hands]

Lie-in: Huh? What?

Y/N: Come on, man. We gotta get to San Fantastico and get rid of those flaming freakshows.

Lie-in: Right...right...

Lagging behind the others, Lie-in gazed behind him to see if they were being followed. Although he couldn't see anyone following, he could see a blizzard with the Snow-kai approaching in the distance. The Abominable Snow-kai sees him and points once more. Gulping to himself, he hurried onto the train to San Fantastico, where the others were boarding as Y/N was holding open the door with his foot. As soon as his friend ran aboard, Y/N removed his foot, making the automatic doors close. Back in the distance, the Abominable Snow-kai watched the train leave the station, its bloody red eyes following it with a purpose.

As soon as they got to San Fantastico, they got a big surprise. Instead of snow and cold like the rest of the country, they were greeted with a heatwave. 

Tyrat: Emna's oversived ivory, the hot heads pulled it off!

Y/N: [Zipping off coat] Yeah, it's a scorcher. Phew...

Usapyon: Focus, y'all. If we were those great oddballs of fire, where would we go?

Flammurice: I'd wager the beach.

Usapyon: Eh, makes sense. This town is right by the ocean. And the weather's perfect for a day at the beach.

Lie-in: ...

Tyrat: Still thinkin' about the Abomidable Snow-kai?

Lie-in: Yes, though I have a feeling it will appear again. It seems relentless.

Tyrat: Do you think we owe it money?

Lie-in: I think you might. But something about it just rings a bell...and I don't know why.

Tyrat: Well, I don't usually root for cold creeps that cause snowstorms, but if he's against those heated haters, too, he's good in my book.

It didn't take them long to find the beach, and the Flaming Five and their groupies were partying, making the atmosphere even hotter than they were planning.

Flengu: Phew, did we have to make it so hot here, mon? Me little fan can barely support me.

Swelterrier: 'Tis the price to pay for success, my friend.

Y/N: That's not the only price you'll pay, you firey fruitcakes.

Looking over, the flaming party spotted our heroes geared up to fight.

Swelterrier: You cretins of the cold again? We have no time for the likes of you. Take them.

The army of fire Yo-kai turned to the uninvited guests and decided to attack. A few of them tried to get the jump on them, only for them to get extinguished by Usapyon's blaster.

Usapyon: Blaster set to chill.

Leading the charge, the moon rabbit strafed as he blasted the fire Yo-kai. Meanwhile, Lie-in followed close behind with Tyrat on his shoulder; however, the fire Yo-kai weren't going to make it easy for them.
