In this world, beings called Yo-kai exist, causing all sorts of problems for humans. Yo-kai are invisible to the human eye, so to see them, you'd have to use a legendary forbidden tool hidden in the human world. But just what is this tool, and what...
It was a slow, lazy day in the city of Springdale. A slow, lazy, sunny day. Quite ordinary, in fact. At the L/N Residence, the parents of the misfit, only known as Y/N L/N, had vacated for their jobs, leaving their son home with his Yo-kai roommates. Usually, they would get into serious Yo-kai hijinx, but today they'd just relax. Y/N lay on the couch, watching his favorite show, the Super Sentai Show, while Lie-in sat near the kitchen table, eating a hot bowl of ramen. The only one who was antsy for some action was Tyrat.
Tyrat: Y/N, when are we gonna go out and do some action-y type stuff?
Y/N: Not now, Tyrat. My show just began.
Tyrat: Come on, I'll pop with I don't get to see Lie-in punch someone's teeth out.
Y/N: (Looks over the couch) Well, right now he's more focused on getting some ramen in.
Tyrat: Fine. If nobody's gonna venture with me-
The tiny rat hopped out and made for the door.
Tyrat: I'm gonna venture myself!
He then jumped onto the door handle to open it before leaving the house.
Lie-in: (Slurp) Do you think he's gonna be okay?
Y/N: Aw, c'mon. How much trouble can someone of his size get into?
Outside, Tyrat was wandering the streets of Uptown Springdale, wondering what kind of adventures would come his way.
Tyrat: Gee, I haven't been on my own for a while. Hopefully, I don't run into something I can't handle.
Before long, he saw a foot of a human overshadowing him. Usually, a foot wouldn't be a threat to anyone, but to someone of Tyrat's size, one wrong step could mean certain doom. He quickly evaded the foot before it came down. He thought he was safe, but Tyrat saw another foot coming his way. Getting on all fours, he scampered away, unwittingly running through a busy street of cars.
Tyrat: Yow!
Our hero tried evading the many cars that came his way, only for one of them to run over his tail. In surprise, he gained a sudden boost of energy and dashed into an empty tin can.
Tyrat: Ooh, why'd I go out?
Suddenly, a sound hit the can with a few more along the way. Tyrat looked ahead to find that it was now raining outside. Spying ahead, he saw a lone figure sitting on a bench with a gloomy expression on her face.
Gloomy Girl: (Sigh)
Tyrat: What a coldy beautiful Yo-kai. I bet her mood is causing it to rain.
