Bundle Madness Drabble Part 91

Start from the beginning

Reach out like he was ready to snatch it up. Hand smack by the bow. Eyes startled as he looks back at the human. A warning looks in those eyes. His own eyes narrowed as he almost let of a hiss. Yet, holds it back. Wave his hand as another case appeared on his side. It was time to end this game.

"The Devil opened up his case and he said, "I'll start this show"

Pull out his own personal fiddle and bow to be used. It looks similar to the one of the stumps. Besides seemingly to look too perfect.

"And fire flew from his fingertips as he rosined up his bow
And then he pulled his bow across the strings and it made a evil hiss
And then a band of demons joined in and it sounded something like this"

Lucifer taken center. Began to play the fiddle like the professional he is. Jump off the stomp to be right in front of 'Johnny'. Finish in one last note as he lowered the fiddle down. A mocking bow in front of him.

Your turn.

"When the Devil finished, Johnny said
You know, you're pretty good ol' son."

Lucifer smirk as he is pleased with that. The last part slightly lost. How come when they said that. It really did sound like it could have been coming from someone way older. No, he must not let it get in his head. Not, that many beings are older than him. We're just messing with him is all.

"But you just flop down in that chair right there"

Points at the same tree stomp he place the award at.

"I'm gon' show you how this stuff's done"

The former angel rolled his eyes as he goes to sit down. Held the gold fiddle in his lap. While the little show he witnesses before was actually decent. Now got to go serious mode. One of the things he got over the poor human was age. He has done this for years! The human probably started young but nowhere near close to his level. At last got to play his part of the deal.

Twirl the bow in their own hand. Until they place the bow right on the string. Time to get to work.

"Fire on the mountain, run, boys, run
The Devil's in the house of the risin' sun"

Error barely leaves their spot as they play. That is what they want to stay right here. Very still. Besides their arms, fingers doing the work. Eyes staying lock on.

The fallen angel stunned at what he is listening too. All of it was fast but still hit a tune. That you want to clap, dance too.

"The chicken in the bread-pan pickin' out dough
Granny, does your dog bite? No, child, no"

Lucifer eyes widen in disbelief.

He lost?

No, no, no! That shouldn't be possible! He can't have lost. He was being easy and this brat had to show off. No, that can't do! He got quickly play another piece. He gripped on the fiddle not wanting to put it down. Not be made a fool. He supposed to be the winner! Not this boy! He won!

HIM!

The deal made it choice who the winner was.

"Well, that ol' Devil bowed his head because he knew that he'd been beat
And he laid that golden fiddle down on the ground at Johnny's feet"

Grip his glove hand as he turns around. Damn it! This had wasted his time! Maybe he can quickly get out of here quickly to find someone else. Anyone! Doesn't care the spell drop him in this spot! There has to be another human on standby.
