"Shit," you cursed while catching your breath. Those damn people. You pulled your hood lower to cover your face, even though you were wearing a mask underneath.

You gripped your katana harder as a drunk man bumped into you in a dark alley. He was about to look at you. You jumped over his shoulder and stabbed him, the blade passing through his skull.

You heard footsteps behind you and began running—swinging the blade to fling off the filthy blood. You then stopped running, thinking if you should just kill them off.

"Boss, a dead body here!" someone shouted.

"There it is! Shoot him!"

You rushed toward them, unleashing your katana, stabbing them in the neck and swinging it, their heads falling off one by one.

You breathed heavily, exhausted, and took a step forward—your sword dripping with blood.

Later on, you heard sirens.

"So stinky," you muttered, wiping the blood stains off your mask.

"I should probably go now. There's no way I'm running from people I could easily murder. They're just giving me more work—killing more."

Suddenly, you heard a clicking sound from above. Your eyes widened. You didn't realize they were aiming at you from the rooftops.

You rolled to the ground, groaning as a bullet hit your left shoulder.

"Tsk, so those people were just bait. I can't believe these people." You held your shoulder as you ran through the street.

"He's running away! Go after him!"

You bit your lip in irritation. While running, your hood flew off from the wind pressure, revealing your mask. You quickly pulled it back down to avoid showing your hair color.

On the street, a bunch of people were talking—probably the addicted ones.

"Move," you demanded.

You didn't wait for their response as you stabbed one of them, making the others freeze. You continued running—ignoring them.

"T-that's—"

You threw a knife in the man's direction, cutting off whatever he wanted to say.

You stopped at a building that seemed abandoned.

You opened the door and leaned against the other side of it.

A candle suddenly lit up, and you switched into a fighting stance.
