Mirror and Mask

Prologue

A big fight happened within the group of their friendship. Someone betray, lie, and cannot be trusted. As they group fell apart, each of them seperate ways and act like there were a stranger.

Suddenly, an accident happened that lead one of their former friend in comatose but it is still mysterious for them that who's behind the accident.

Little did they not know that the boy is from a big shot family with a secret background, he was pretending to be in a middle class family as he wants to gain more friends.
In the other hand, the mother of the boy was crying because of what happened to his son, and another boy came with a serious face and coldness

"What are you even doing Cedric, look at your brother! I though you protect him from any danger" the mother shouted his another son in anger

"Mom, you know that we don't go to the same school. I just can't go there and baby sit him" he replied in a cold tone

Cedric didn't expect a hand would hit his cheek while looking at her mother who was furious

"How dare you to talk like that cedric, he is your brother, your twin. How could you!"
"It his fault, he is weak and nobody said that he should chose a school that full of gangster".

"I have my own dreams, goal, I can't just go following him around" he rebat to his mom as a disagreement

"he went there because of how you are being selfish!" He look at her mother in desbelief

"Nobody said he should take over mine. It was your fault for forcing into this, even though you know that I don't want to take over you goddamn illegal business"
"Shut up Cedric, let's talk this at home" his father intervine their conversation
"Tsk"

"Cedric, I want you to replace your brother and continue to study there"

"Are you insane? I have my science convention coming up"

"For pete sake cedric, is the science are more important than your brother and whether you like or not, you gonna replace your brother there"

The boy can't stand up and just walk out because inside of him, there was burning anger and afraid cannot control.

Monday came, he is packing his staff to replace his brother. Even though, he against the idea but still his not strong enough to oppose their parents. When he arrive at the school, a lot of students were looking at him and gossip

"Is that Derix?"

"I thought he was in coma, that's what I heard"

"False information can spread girl"

The crowd begins to noisy even more when they witness how another boy bump cedric and stared each other for a while

"Monster don't really die easily, right Derix?"

"We're not close to talk me, stranger"

"You wanna die?" Cedric just give him a cold stare, confused about the guy who just bump him.

"You wanna see your body without head hanging in the flag pole?"

They felt scared when he said those like it was nothing, as if the person had changed.
One thing Cedric hated are those people who are feeling superior.

"let's see if you can still say that to me, just you wait. By the way, maximo said your ex is hot and bitch"

"I don't care, in my eyes she's already slut. Tell her, she can suck any dick, It's my pleasure to give her more man. I might even please to watch her sucking them" he said, like he didn't love her at all.

"You're pathetic. I don't care what you say. Leave me alone. You're wasting my spit," he shouted, loud and bossy.

The boy ran away because of Cedric. It was like something bad would happen if he stayed close. Now, people were afraid of Cedric.

"Tsk, idiots wasting my time with this dumb fight," he said, sounding cold and angry.

"Hey, that's mean," a guy said, but Cedric didn't even look at him.

"He's changed so much!"

"Love can change you, good or bad."

"Wow, I didn't think you'd say that, Lila."

"Shhh, be quiet. He might hear."

"Shut up, all of you! You sound like hungry bugs, so loud," he said, making everyone around him mad.

Meanwhile, the guy Cedric argued with was fuming. He couldn't accept being threatened. When he got to his classroom, he saw the woman and his friend, Maximo, being lovey-dovey. He almost threw up watching them kiss in public.

"Damn, get a room," he told them.

"Keo, what was all the noise about earlier?" Maximo asked.

"I had a fight with Derix."

"Oh, he's back?"

"Yeah, looking good, too bad he didn't stay in the hospital. He deserves it."

"Yeah, he's a traitor," another guy, Zack, agreed.

"But he's acting different," keo said, frowning.

"What do you mean?" the woman asked.

"Like he doesn't even know me."

"Maybe he's faking it."

"He even said mean things about you. He called you a slut, if I remember right."

"What!" The woman was angry and ready to go after Derix, but Maximo slammed his hand on the table.

"He really said that?" Keo nodded, knowing how dangerous Maximo could be when he was angry.

"Later, 8 p.m. You know the drill, Keo," Maximo said, his voice dangerous.

"Are we going to do it?" Zack asked.

"I mean, we used to be friends with him," Maximo glared at him.

"I don't care. He went too far, talking about her like that!"

"Okay, you're the boss, Maximo."
