Lincoln's POV
It was the day I had to leave the house. I just thought about all the good times I had as I was packing my things. The pain just became way too much for me. What happened to me and what most of my sisters did to me was just so low. Mom and Dad did nothing to help me until these 4 things happened within the span of less than 2 months. It took until the movie situation for them to put me in the facility.
It was there when I was assigned to Lyra Lone's care. She gave me the support and love that I never got. And through the court case, I would have to stay in her care if something bad happened after my stay. When I returned home, my sisters except Lucy still didn't change when they found out what their footage was used for and they accused me of trying to save my own skin. I felt sick. It was after that day that Mom and Dad decided to let me and Lucy go. Cliff came with us too because he didn't want me to leave him.
It was so hard for me. All the memories I made living in Royal Woods were shattered. I still stayed in touch with Leni, Luna, and Lana because they at least had some decency. Everyone else, I refused to talk to. As for Lynn, I left it up to her to decide. We were very close growing up, but it crashed and burned after her situation in 6th grade.
It was at the end of the month that we moved with Lyra to the L.A. area. Near the end of my stay, she took me to her house and mentioned that she was moving to L.A. because she got a job at a new facility in Sherman Oaks. It was on the day we arrived in L.A. that I met Lyra's niece and nephew. They were Raven, the Teen Titan herself, and her older brother Russell. We moved to a nice one story house near downtown Burbank.
I struggled at first, but it was on the 2nd weekend after the move that I met Anne, Sasha, and Marcy at a playground I went to. Even though they went to a different school, I became good friends with them, and I was particularly close with Marcy. After that day, I saw a glimmer of hope. All I wished for even before I left Royal Woods was just to have a better life.
I kept that wish as long as I could.
