I was taking a phone call with a big plate of dry fruits in my hand which I have to take to my soon to be bhabhi home in evening . I kept the plate on the table of my brothers room and went to the other side of the house for some more works .
Some people were questioning me that where was I on the engagement and I am tired of giving them answers that I was out for the seminar , it was sudden but urgent too .
I wonder if it would have been my own brother wedding what would be the reaction of these people , I can imagine them killing me by just looks .
My phone pinged and I opened it and saw nayan and niharika messaged me asking about when will I reach there , these girls are excited more than me . I smiled a little and told them the time and locked the phone .
No doubt , the Singhania family is amazing , I have met them a day before yesterday and they didn't let me feel like an outsider even for a minute. Just then I got to know that they are the family friends, The Agnihotri's and The Singhania's.
Well these two girlies have taken my number on the same day cause they wanted to discuss the OUTFITS with me . They hadn't send me any options till now btw but still .
Soon evening came and now I was getting ready for the haldi , the function here will start early cause first we have to apply the haldi to bhai and then I will take the remaining haldi for bhabhi as an auspicious ritual thing .
As I got ready I click some pictures , I wore a yellow sharara suit with minimal print on it , light makeup , curl my hair in wavy and made a ponytail with some strands falling on the face and the usual gold locket and tops i always wear .

The function started soon and we all started applying him haldi one by one followed by a lot of photos , laughter and memories.
Then my maasi came to me "I think you should go now jyoti they all must be waiting for you and yeah go with Rohit he will drop you there" she said and I nodded. Although I didn't want to go with him we barely stay silent with each other, a ride is too much .
As if on cue rohit heard it all and came towards us "mummy she can go on her own , i am going to pick some other gifts from the shop and why does she have a car then if she needs me for such a short work" He said smirking.
He is saying this all to make my blood boil , I know that of course , but i didn't say anything cause Its in my favour and I agree with him for the third time in my life .
The first one was when we were in our teenage and he said that i am the most pretty sister ofcourse it was a dare the second time was when we both were discussing the tamasha going on in our nani house and he said "our mama is such a clever man" and the third time was today so yeah 3 times .
Anyways after a lot of bickering I convinced maasi to let me go alone there and there will be ruhaan si--bhai will be also present so no problem he can come and take me to the main hall .
