well! we're back with another story, this time, with two original characters. i am so excited to release this book because i've enjoyed writing it, and i hope y'all enjoy reading it.
so, a little backstory is this book is about sloane laurent, model of the year and face of the global fashion market. the industry would not be what it is without her, and she knows it, though she is humble. sloane lives in silence, for various reasons. however, her quiet and private life is disturbed when none other than weston carter, golden boy of the nfl and quarterback of the manhattan sentinels, appears in her life. despite all her efforts to keep him away, she finds herself turning to him when she needed someone most.
this book will cover their story from the beginning. it is a bit of a slow-burn though, so just a heads up.
in addition to that, this book does contain mature themes. please be aware that topics such as vulgarlanguage, intimacy, bullying, and unprofessional conduct through sexual harassment. please, if any of the following topics offend you, read at your own discretion. warnings will be at the top of every chapter.
all mentions of sexual harassment in the story are very brief and vague, but cover a significant part of the storyline, which the main characters must combat.
