RESONANCE

I hadn’t meant to remember you again.
Yet it came, quietly, like a song slipping
through a closed window—insistent, impossible to ignore.

Your voice—
warm, steady, unshakably sincere—
found its way into the corners of me
I didn’t know were listening.

Years of distance,
of lives moving apart,
didn’t erase the way it settled there,
like dust settling on old shelves,
quietly gathering, waiting.

And then, suddenly,
your posts appeared—a shuffle of the universe,
opening a chapter I thought long archived.

I caught your words,
your echoes,
and I felt that spark again—
the same one
that made my heart tiptoe
at the mere thought of your name.

I watch you from afar,
admiring everything you’ve become:
the voice, the craft, the milestones
that remind me of the person
I quietly fell for.

And in my chest—
a small thrill ignites:
I am still a witness
to the way you move through the world.

Perhaps you don’t remember me.
Perhaps I exist only
in a quiet corner of your past,
a fleeting presence
that listened too much, too well.

I will carry this spark,
this resonance—
a secret treasure,
quietly alive, proud,
as I watch you
always, always—shine.
