"Dunbar! Get in here!"

"Yes sir!" I yelled as I ran into his office.

Right when I walked in I was greeted by stiles, "well hello Deputy."

I just rolled my eyes at him.

"What was it that you needed?" I asked.

The Sherrif looked at stiles, and then back at me.

"I need you to do a background check on the Raeken family. Stiles here thinks that Theo is... What was the word you used?" He asked stiles.

"Shady." Stiles replied.

"Oh Theo?!?" I said recognizing the name, "that kid is shady!"

"You too?" The Sherrif asked, and I just shrugged my shoulders.

"Yeah I'll get right on that."

"Thank you very much." Stiles said as he patted my back, and I rolled my eyes at him again, and walked back out to my desk.

"So what was that all about?" Jordan asked as I sat down.

"Stiles thinks that this new kid, who also happens to be a werewolf, is 'shady' so I'm doing a background check on him and his family."

I researched his family and nothing seemed too suspicious, so I stopped when my shift ended. It was my first day, so I was let off early. I was about to leave when Jordan yelled my name and caught my attention.

"Hey, so later tonight I'm going to that girl Tracy's house to keep watch just in case something happens, if you aren't doing anything like around midnight, you could come, but only if you wanted to. Don't feel like you have to, I mean if it's too late, you're probably going to be going to bed, I mean it's fine you don't-" I cut him off.

"Jordan, I would love to, I'll be there at midnight."

"Ha okay, sounds good. See you later!" He yelled as I walked out, and I couldn't help but smile.

I got a text from Liam telling me to meet him in the woods, (which wasn't as random as you would think) so I left to meet him and stiles.

I pulled up next to the jeep and got out.

"What am I here for?"

"We're going to spy on Theo." Liam answered.

"We're not spying on him," stiles argued, "we're just going to observe him for a little while, without him knowing."

"Stiles that is the definition of spying!" I yelled.

"Well, look at these!" He said handing me two papers.

"What am I looking at?"

"The signatures, look they are different."

I looked closely at the two signatures and they were in fact different.

"Okay, so what does this mean?" I asked.

"It means that he is shady, and that something's not right, this signature was forged." Stiles answered.

"Okay so are we just going to watch him all night?"

"Well until he does something shady!" Stiles responded.

Man this kid was set on finding something to prove that Theo was evil.

So we sat and waited, watching Theo play video games for a few hours, until he finally went outside. We followed his car as he went to the store, and bought something, and then went back into the woods. We parked the car, and Liam followed his scent.
