Before we begin, I'd like to let you all know that this is a fictional story - where things, people, their choices are all being taken for the story. So I would appreciate not getting comments like "this makes no sense", "this is annoying", "this is getting unrealistic."
Those who know me, I tend to dive deep into the emotions and state of each character. And I know that everyone behaves differently so an action that one character makes might not be something that you might do. But this is exactly the point.
I'm not trying to create my own reality. I will be as real as possible - in terms of wherever I can, but actions are subjective anyway so even if I be as real as possible, someone will always be disappointed by it.
It gets really upsetting as an author to receive such messages especially it had been made clear that it's a fictional story.

Also, I assure you - THE STORY IS CUTE! I assure you it'll get adorable, just don't judge early please and let the story flow! Those who have read my work know that I can make things cute (hehe) and for those who are new, trust me on it!
Also — it is an open book. I am writing but if you have things you wish to see then please do — I'm always down to incorporate your ideas! And I will! It'll help me write too!
Lastly,
This has been happening to me way too much. I write and write - staying up late to write and update 5/6 chapters on the same day - only to be ignored and just read. I said it so many times, I have even commented on my novels writing an entire update to explain how upsetting it is to just get ignored, but I see no change.
And I did mention that I didn't want to add targets like many authors do — but everytime this happens I start to understand why authors do it.
It sounds rude, but it's mandatory at this point.
I don't get paid to write and you all don't pay to read - so the least we can do is appreciate each other's effort. To all those people who frequent comment and interact, you'll notice I'm following them or I will ALWAYS reply to them and talk. But in return, I'd expect the same.
And I think, I'm right to expect the same.... Right?
So please, it takes 20 seconds to comment or be a part of this novel and I'd really request that you all do... otherwise if the novel slows down or stops then please don't spam comments asking me to update. I'm making everything clear now itself, so that it doesn't sound rude or look like I'm being ignorant.
That said: THERE WILL BE TARGETS NOW. They won't be unrealistic — but there will be targets to unlock the next chapter — based off how many views I get. I hate having become this — but it's the only way to get any appreciation for my effort. I'll try to update often, but the updates will be dependent on target completion otherwise you'd have to wait for 4/5 days.
