dream has loved george since he met him. he like to tells him that he loves him at every opportunity, but he never gets anithing in return, and he doesn't think he ever will. of course , dream asked george's family why george wasn't talking, but the answer was quite strange. when dream asked george's father this question, his father got angry and said the following:

dream still hadn't recoverd from that conversation. what kind of father could say such hars things to his son? dream knew george's family was on bad terms, perhaps becouse of the trauma george's family had inflicted on him. dream had always been withdrawn . dream spent his days wondering why someone he'd known for yearsa wouldn't want to talk to him.
