It was your first time playing minecraft, your big brother Jake had already set you all up and logged you on.
"This is stupid, I don't understand how you think this is fun"
"Just shut up and play, it's more complicated then it looks like"
I rolled my eyes and looked at the screen. I was surrounded by thick jungle trees and tall green grass. I started to move my character around in circles when it suddenly fell into a random hole. "Yeah.. It's still stupid"
"C'mon atleast build something"
"How?? My hands are f*cking blocks!!" He tossed a book at me that said 'Minecraft for Dummies'.
He smiled at me as he headed for the door. "You will thank me later" When he left you looked back at the book and tossed it on the floor.
"Yea right.. I can do perfectly fine without your dumb-ass book"
I wandered the jungle aimlessly as I looked for a place to build my home when suddenly I spotted a clear open plain with a couple of pigs.
Ten minutes passed by and I had completed my first house. It was made out of dirt and sand that was 3 by 3 blocks wide, and 3 blocks tall. I looked back at my work and smiled in approval but something was off.. I noticed that the sun was setting and it was beginning to rain. My speakers boomed as the rain came down harder and the sun began to quickly fade away into the horizon. I quickly went into my house when I noticed that there was literally only one block of space for me to move!! And on top of that I forgot to put on a roof, and a door!!
"How the hell could it get any worse?!!" Just then I could hear the sound of a hissing noise. I squatted down and tried to stay hidden but it grew louder and louder until..
*BOOM!!*
I ran my fingers through my hair as I stared at the screen.
"Damn it! How does Jake do it?" My eyes then drifted towards the 'Minecraft for Dummies' book. I slowly picked it up and scanned through it, when I was done looking I pressed the respawn button and started over. This time I am going to survive.
