ELEVEN

"Hey!" Minamoto says, clearly offended.

You guys hear the gate open. Mistuba jumps into a bush, when you look at the gate you see Yugi carrying Yashiro piggyback style.

"Hanako- wait is that Nene?" Minamoto runs towards them, you and Aiya running towards them as well.

"Sure is." Hanako says as he smiles, you noticed he was sweating.

"Hey! What's going on? Are you okay?!" Minamoto says.

"Did something happen?" You said, a bit worried.

"Yeah. Man, I'm exhausted." Hanako puts Yashiro down on the grass.

"Nene? What the heck happened?" Minamoto leaned down to see Yashiro.

"You know, the usual. Yashiro wanted to get out for a bit so she dragged me along for a night on the town."

"You left? Oh no. Did something bad happen to her out there?"

Your mind starts wandering, what if something bad actually did happen?

"Well, classic Yashiro. She got ran over by a stampede of hot dudes out on a jog."

"You idiot!" You, Aiya, and Minamoto yelled.

"I don't have the paitence for your b.s right now!" Minamoto tries the hit him with his staff thing but Hanako manages to dodge it.

"Sorry! I'm just kidding." Hanako puts his hands up, as if he was surrendering.

Then theres a rustle in the bush, Hanako looks at Mitsuba. Silence.

"Oh. Hey there." Mistuba laughs awkardly. "What's up?"

"Mistuba. What's up? You don't have to hide from him." Minamoto says. You look at Hanako. He's weirdly quiet.

"Minamoto! Hush." Mitsuba says.

"So. That's how it is." Hanako says, which makes Mitsuba's eyes widen. "What happened to your big wish? Are you giving up already?" Creepy.

Silence. Mistuba stands up.

"Huh? What's he mean?" Minamoto looks at Mitsuba, Hanako puts his hand up.

"Minamoto!" You and Mistuba yell. Mistuba's giant hand thing gets him. Aiya shield you once again, you two take a few steps back from Hanako and towards Mitsuba.

"Geez. Man, warn a guy before you toss him around." Minamoto groans.

"Oh well. I've got the one who matters." Hanako looks at Yashiro. "Come, Hakujoudai." The orbs come towards him and surrounds him, turning back to his original ghost form.

Minamoto's eyes widen. "It's you! It's really you!" Minamoto's eyes sparkle as he smiles. That poor sweet boy. "What are you doing? Don't scare me like that. You know I had a feeling you were pretending this whole time...buttt I don't get it, why didn't you say anything?" Hanako picks Yashiro up. "We were totally lost, we didn't know what was going on in this world. Let alone how we can escape it. But it should be easy now! I can't believe I'm saying this but it's nice to see you, man." Minamoto was going to walk towards Yashiro and Hanako but Mitsuba put his hand on his shoulder causing him to stop. "Mitsuba?" He looked back at Mitsuba, Mitsuba's face said 'hes not on our side.' So he got the hint.

Minamoto looked at you and Aiya, you two looked worried. You had a feeling something was wrong. "Hey Hanako." Minamoto says. "You're not usually this quiet."

When Minamoto didn't get a response, he looked sad then angry. "Hanako!"

Hanako turns to Minamoto."Tell me something, kid. Why are you doing this? What do you get out of wrecking this world?"

Minamoto gasps as Mistuba shields him. "You haven't put it together yet? This world is fake, it's cut off from reality. Number Four can make it day or night with a simple brush stroke. Even a meteor shower if we want to. It's perfect, life and death don't exist here. Number Four controls all of it. Yashiro is supposed to die."

Your eyes widen. What? Yashiro? Wait if Yashiro is about to die then...You look at Aiya, who looks at you back.

"She has less than a year left, remember? That future is set in stone. But it doesn't have to." Hanako holds her tighter. "It doesn't have to be that way here. In this fictional world she doesn't have to die!" Hanako smiles, this is making you feel weirdly uncomfortable. "She can live past her time."

Minamoto is speechless, Hanako looks down at Yashiro in his arms. "Not just for a year...she can live forever."

"If we stay...Nene isn't going to die?" Minamoto asks.

"I guess I'm not surprised you couldn't figure it out." Hanako looks at Minamoto. "But I thought you cared, you said you were going to save her, that you would find a way around it. Guess you're all talk."

Minamoto puts his head down. "Well whatever." Hanako says as he puts his foot down, causing strong wind. You covered yourself, the others did too.

"What gives?!" Minamoto says.

Then with a blink of an eye, you see Hanako and Yashiro on top of a building. "Number Four is almost finished with the painting. Don't interfere, Yashiro will be harder to convince." He looks down at you guys. "So I'll just lock her up instead." He smiles. WHAT? IS THIS GUY CRAZY?

"What the hell are you talking about?!" Minamoto yells.

"That's not your concern. Hang tight, you'll lose your memories soon. Then you, Yashiro, and Kiyama can be happy! This world isn't all downsides when you look at it in right angle." The orbs cover Yashiro and Hanako once again.

"Huh? Hey!" Minamoto moves his staff and lighting begins to surround him. "Come here, we're not done yet!"

"Hold on!" Mistuba cuts him off. "Leave this one to me! I've got more range than you!" Mistuba's large hand flies over to Hanako.

"Hakujoudai." Hanako says, then the orb goes straight into the ground, causing Mitsuba to fall backwards, he lands onto the ground.

"Mitsuba!" You and Minamoto yell. As you both approach the boy on the ground, Minamoto shakes him gently. "Mitsuba! Are you hurt?!"

"Damn it. What's your problem?!" Minamoto looks at Hanako.

"Later kid. Yashiro and I have places to be." Hanako looks at you guys. You try to make sure Mitsuba wasn't hurt.

"Hanako!" Minamoto screamed as Hanako and Yashiro disappeared.

(This is when you guys were heading down the stairs and found Mistuba and Minamoto.)

"What was with you befriending Minamoto Teru?" You turn to Aiya.

"Thought it'd be funny. He's actually a gentleman, shockingly." Aiya smiles.

"Seriously?" You turn foward and continue walking.
