CHAPTER 24 : "OMNIPOTENT"

"Can you hear me, Pluto?" A call rang mountain wide, startling all the bugs, beasts and bastards.

Pluto's eyes widened, replaced by a smile soon. "I can hear you clearly, pazu! Are you guys fine?!"

Pazu's face lit up.

"We are! All of us, here talk to prince!" Pazu said, signalling prince to lay a hand on his back to communicate. Prince remained seated, staring at the ground with a subtle crunch on his brows.

He didn't reply.

Pazu knew what it meant. "W-well prince is a bit injured, so he can't talk right now—"

Pazu excused, but pluto understood that silence, he wasn't forgiven yet, not so easily.

"—Anyways, We've won, pluto! orin, alaric and even loki has fallen!" Pazu said.

Thor raised an eyebrow at loki's name.

"Only thor remains now, so beat him up quickly and return to us already!" Pazu encouraged with a passion that stuck odd to pluto before sharing a look with hel and azu. They'd told him to avoid revealing their dilemma to pluto as it would only end up increasing his burden.

They'll handle it on their own and believe in Pluto to defeat thor before his influence kills them.

Then, a collection of voices rang everywhere.

"C-cain—are you there?!" A few kelners asked, making cain stare agaped then answer.

"Y-yeah, I'm here! Are you guys fine?!" He asked quickly, making pluto realise just how worried Cain felt about his family. "Yeah, all thanks to prince and his family!" They said. Pluto couldn't help the smile crawling to his face, the kelners continued. 

"Don't give in cain! We will return together!" They yelled together, Cain stared blankly at the air, suddenly feeling like somebody had wrapped him in a warm blanket that shielded his bare body from the cold snowy rain. "Alright, just hold on tight—i'll be there!"

Pazu came again. "Get done quickly! Goodluck!"

The call cut.

Cain tried to get up when his shield slipped.

"Don't tell me you're tired already" Pluto smirked, now feeling slightly better, lighter.

"Nowhere near my limit, dumbass." He retorted, wiping blood off his forehead, standing again.

Thor charged his hammer again. "Your friends sounded excited, I hope ya don't let 'em down."

Lightning shower crawled across the ground when cain leaped upwards, flying like a typhoon followed by Pluto, hopping over graves to make up for his lack of flight. Cain met thor face to face and in a flash, went past him like a spirit.

More tiny cuts opened on thor's body. Not lethal but painful to bear. Thor revolted with a right swing when a rock exploded on his face, it was a gravestone shot by pluto like a baseball.

Cain wanted to laugh seeing this audacity and even thor was startled.

"You're insane!"

"—And weak!" Pluto said. "That's why I rely on others strength to move forward!" More shots exploded on thor's body into little rock pieces.

"Be they alive or dead, I will carry their feelings!"

Pluto assault was broken by a hammer throw from thor, who came to catch him in a deadly hug in the air when thankfully, cain appeared upside down, "Eat this, REPULSE!" His attack sent the 10 ft giant to spit blood and fall backwards.
