A gift for my apology. I am sorry. I cannot remain consistent with making stories, and by consistent, I do mean publishing something at least once a week. I myself have grown impatient, and I have forced myself to start this. However, the process of typing out every word has truly awakened something in me. I might take some time away from wattpad so I can focus solely on my grades as well, but I'm not sure anymore. I won't promise the Murder Mouse Mystery story will even be uploaded by the end of this week (even though I said it would last week), but I will try my hardest to make every chapter worth the wait. Here's a story I've been working on since Sunday.

"... Hey, Kacchan?"

"... What?"

Unforgettable chirps of crickets, a soft howl of wind carrying much more than its own sound, but also voices of two who choose to only acknowledge the noise of which the other makes. Trees have shaken against each other, leaves colliding and yet, all sound soars through what can be considered deaf ears.

Sprawling upon the grass emanated by a luminescence of a distant astronomic object— an unexpected color due to its near annual event, a lunar eclipse— casting a blood red upon any and everything exposed to it.

Short green strands of hair matching a shade the grass in which the owner of said hair lays in flow within the wind's presence, as do the short ash blonde spikes belonging to another male known by the greenette. Stars may not litter the night sky as they used to, but Katsuki Bakugou shall consider the freckles ever so perfectly spread across the face of his companion as what he can only describe to be a permanent constellation, one of a diamond on either side of Izuku Midoriya's face, just below his large, emerald orbs, mesmerizing to ruby orbs.

While he could lie upon his deathbed, the eyes ingrained into his very soul being a final sight, there will always be admiration for more than the doe eyes of the younger male.

Izuku's emotions are no different for what he considers the eyes of a god. Such sharp eyes for a now soft male, sharp spikes for ever so soft hair, and an attractively sharp jawline for memorably soft words.

A party is decided between their fellow classmates in celebration of their graduating for 'surviving freshman year', both agreeing to spend it privately... together, allowing their existence close to each other enough to be a replacement for the energy that could've been if they had chosen the opposing option.

The moon's at its brightest, and both males softly breathe the cool air, staying in the backyard of Izuku's mother's home.

"What are your plans for the summer?"

Eyes of the eldest male slowly trail over to his partner, as does his head to face him, silently watching the every twitch in his body. Slow risings of his chest, sways of his hair, the blink of his eyes that begin to focus on him after silence had followed Izuku's question.

Still, a beat of this quiet before Katsuki begins. "Spend my days with you."

A response like such makes the shorter male's plump pink lips stretch, a smile now held as one the ash blonde could never want nor be able to resist reciprocating. A feeling of warmth, familiarity, and comfort phase through the teenagers, their bodies synchronizing beyond by soul. Complicated, yet so simple to them.

A hand of the youngest reaches out, longing and accepting, and the other male slides his hand, both rough and somehow delicate with each other. As fingers intertwine themselves, the pair inch closer to each other, heads lightly tapping as they are now lying on their sides.
