"Yes, she called me a little while ago. She said it would take a few minutes." Usha said while putting the vegetables in the pot. "Oh, Di is late today. That's why I asked," said Taraksha while taking out the water bottle from the fridge.

"What are you talking about, Mummy?" Taraksha asked, drinking water. "I am talking about Tarun, Tara" Usha said and Taraksha choked on her water.

"Mummy, Tarun is umm" Taraksha was finding it difficult to form the sentence. "Yes, he is just my boyfriend. Tell me this too" Usha said and Taraksha gave Usha a nervous smile. "Mummy, yes he is my boyfriend" Taraksha said and kept the water bottle back in the fridge.

"Oh, so finally today you told mummy about Tarun" Tanya asked as soon as she came into the kitchen. "What do you mean? You didn't tell her? I thought you told Mummy." Taraksha asked with her wide eyes.

"No, I didn't tell Mummy. And now that Mummy knows, go get your gift from my bag." Tanya said with a small smile. "Thanks di" Takasha said and ran from the kitchen towards the living room.

"Tanya, I have told you so many times not to come to my kitchen without bathing," Usha said and Tanya raised her hands in the air in surrender. "Ok mummy" Tanya said and walked out of the kitchen towards her room.

"Great, one has a boyfriend and the other is busy with her career," Usha said to herself while shaking her head in disbelief. Taraksha came to Tanya's room with her gift. She was looking so happy.

Taraksha opened her gift and her eyes sparkled. "Earrings!" Taraksha shouted happily. "Wow, these are so beautiful. He always knows what I like" Taraksha whispered while admiring the earrings.

There were two pairs of earrings in the box. Tanya also came to the room after taking bath. "So Tarun has sent these for you. These earrings are beautiful," Tanya said looking at the earrings.

"Yes, I know these are beautiful. Di, please tell Mummy not to scold me," Taraksha said, making a childish face. "Haahh, ok fine" Tanya said and lay down on her bed.

Usha came to Tanya's room. "So you are here" Usha said to Taraksha and walked towards the bed."Yes mummy" Taraksha said and kept the earrings on the table.

"Tara, now tell me everything about Tarun. How long have you two been having this affair?" Usha asked sternly. "Mummy, you have met Tarun many times and he is not a bad boy. He never makes me cry" Taraksha said while placing a pillow on her lap.

"Yes, I met Tarun and I liked his behavior. But you know your father, right? He shouldn't know about this." Usha said and Taraksha nodded. "Yes, Mummy, I know. But since you're here, what's there to be afraid of?" Taraksha said playfully.

"Since when has this been going on?" Usha asked. "Mummy, we've been in a relationship for two years," Taraksha said, giving a nervous smile.

"Oh God, what should I do with this girl? The elder one doesn't want to get married and the younger one even has a boyfriend." Usha said this while also placing her hand on her forehead.

"Come downstairs now. It's time for your papa to come." Usha said and Tanya and Taraksha got up from the bed and went downstairs with Usha.In the kitchen, Tanya was rolling the rotis and Taraksha was baking them.

Usha is setting everything on the dining table. Amal has returned from the showroom and was taking a shower. Usha placed everything on the dining table and Amal also came to the dining area and sat on his chair.
