Hope POV:

I had left Kara in the hologram room, leaving her to speak with something can give her answers. My phone started ringing, James had been calling me but my ringer had been off during the fight. "What's up, James? Sorry I was fighting with Supergirl's aunt." I said into the phone. "Listen, I hate to put this on you and Supergirl but Cat Grant is demanding an interview or she's going to fire me." James replied.

"I'm sorry it's taken so long for Supergirl and I to get to the interview with Cat. As soon as Kara is done in her meeting, I'll have us fly right over." I responded. "Cool, thank you. I really appreciate it. See you around." James said before ending the call. Kara walked out of the hologram room, looking a little lost. "Hey, Cat's going to fire James by tomorrow if we don't let Cat interview us." I told Kara.

"Let's go. We'll pick her up on her way home." Kara replied. We flew over to Catco waiting for Cat Grant to exit the building. When she got in the car, Supergirl lifted the car over her head and flew Cat to a hill top. "I heard you wanted to speak with us." Kara said as Cat got out of the car. "It's you. Oh, no. I'm sorry. I meant to say, who are you? You've addressed yourself as Skjaldmær, why?" Cat asked us.

"According to you, I'm Supergirl." Kara responded. "Trademark pending." Cat said, pulling out a recording device. "I chose my name due to family heritage." I answered. "You have questions. We're ready to answer them." Kara stated. "Huh. Do you mind if I record this?" Cat asked. "I suppose not." Kara replied. "Okay. Supergirl. Skjaldmær. Let's start with the generals. Where are you from?" Cat asked us.

"I traveled to Earth from my home planet of Krypton." Kara answered. "And you?" Cat asked me. "I'm from Earth, born and raised." I replied, leaving out that I'm from a different universe. "My parents sent me here where they thought I'd be safe." Kara continued. "I fell like I've heard this story before." Cat said signing. "This is my story." Kara argued. "So, I can assume that all of your powers are the same as the Man of Steel's? The flying, the super strength, the freezy breath thing?" Cat asked Kara.

"I'm still working on that last one." Kara replied. "Oh, so you're not up to his level yet?" Cat asked. "She's better, she's just never had to use her freeze breath before. She's stronger and more inspiring." I said, coming to Supergirl's defense. "And you, what are your powers? Other than flying and super strength? How did you reforge the ship and stop the oil from polluting the water?" Cat asked me. "I have magic and I'm still learning what I'm capable of." I answered.

"So, why are we just hearing from you now?" Cat asked us. "I'm not sure I understand the question." Kara replied. "Well, if you've been on Earth for years, why wait this long to start giving back? Where were you during the earthquake two years ago? Or the wildfires last September that killed eight people?" Cat asked Kara. "This is not a job I take lightly. I had to be ready." Kara responded vaguely.

"I was in New Orleans, dealing with anomalies and catastrophes that could have devastated the lives of hundreds of thousands of people." I answered. "Any plans to start a family?" Cat asked. "There is nobody on any planet that could be a genetic match for me. Just because I was born on Earth doesn't mean my genes will allow children." I responded. "Nobody ever asks my cousin these questions." Kara said to Cat. "Superman is your cousin?" Cat asked Kara.

"This interview is over." Supergirl stated before we flew away. By the next morning, Supergirl and I were all over the news. "Ah. Interesting choice mentioning that in an interview. Isn't that a little dangerous?" Winn asked as we came into work. "I didn't mean to. I got confused and it just popped out. She...she tricked me. She's like a villain. She's like a super interviewing villain." Kara responded.
