Cassadee Swan didn't expect much when she first moved to Forks, Washington. Sure, she expected to maybe make a few friends here and there but definitely not to meet a family full of vampires. Another thing she didn't expect? To fall in love with the newest edition to the family, Jasper Hale. Her life was never the same after meeting him, and she was completely fine with that. She thought they were unbreakable, they loved each other more than anything. But when things go wrong at her eighteenth birthday party everyone is reminded just how dangerous it is for a human and a vampire to be together. Which is why Jasper and the rest of the Cullen family left Forks, to keep the Swan sisters safe. However, Cassadee wasn't safer after Jasper left, she was going through changes and facing new threats by herself.

With no one around her understanding what she was going through, Cassadee felt like she was losing her mind and she had no idea how to fix it.
